Standard Or Wide (Aspect Ratio)For Product Creation Videos

I am making a product in keynote and am wondering what is the best for creating products that shows the best on home computer, tablet, phone.

I am using keynote and it says wide or standard which I am assuming is

Wide 16:9 =1280x720
Standard 4:3 = 1280 x960

Any advice?

  • It depend on the purpose.

    Some sites like Udemy require 1280x720.
    I would recommend wide format as well.

  • 16:9 is pretty much the standard now...the only exception I can think of is if you want to upload the presentation to SlideShare, where 4:3 is probably better.

    I'm in with the rest here...most all stuff is 16:9 or similar these days. Unless you have a specific reason to use 4:3, I would go with an HD format or similar specification.
