Countdown Timer Question.....?

Hi guys

I am wondering if anyone has got some experience with Easy Member Neo/Pro? If so I was wondering if there was anyway to get a countdown timer on it, so that I can offer a discounted price for so many days??

I have seen other salespage that takes you to JVZOO to pay for the item, but I don't think that part is done through JVZOO itself

Not sure if you are able to integrate a countdown timer on your specific application but I do think that creating scarcity is a good sales tactic. But only as long as the scarcity is for real. If you have a timer countdown or 'memberships left' number that constantly resets, you will get the occasional potential customer blowing a gasket if they perceive the scarcity is not for real. And if that is the case be prepared for an onslaught of nasty support tickets, blog post rants, and things of that nature.

I quite agree. I have received loads of emails with countdown timers. When the timer runs out, I just click on the link in the email again and 'hey presto' the timer starts again. Not a good idea unless as stated before, you can avoid this happening.

Those are crappy countdown timers. A good timer will not refresh when you hit the refresh and it should be done like this...

You should clone the original page so that the sale page show one price and the other page show the reg price.

when the countdown timer runs out on the sales page, the timer should redirect them to the reg page.

that's how a good count down timer works, and this is how it's set up in Optimize Press, which is the plug in I use for my marketing

Ya I think using countdown timers and other scarcity tactics are a double edged sword. Yes, I think they should increase your overall conversions slightly, but unless what you are offering is squeaky clean top to bottom, you will also attract the moody haters who love to fling dirt.
