Looking for VPS web hosting recommendations

Hi,

Wanted to see what people are happy with as far as their web hosting goes on a VPS.
My present company for about 6 years has changed hands or something and the service has dropped through the floor so I need to start looking.

My present account is the following for $55 a month:
1.5 GB memory 60 GB disk space 2 ips 5 TB bandwidth.

I do occasional ppc and ppv and have some sites running php plugins to pull in product data from amazon, etc.

Thanks!

  • Have used several in the past.

Now, happily using Liquidweb by my clients and some websites of my own.

    I hope it helps.

  • I use M3Server for my VPS. I've been with them for 7 years. Looks like they offer a number of packages that include more for less than what you're paying now.

  • If you're looking for a managed VPS, I would check out WiredTree. Unmanaged, give Future Hosting a look. Both are great with service and support and reasonably priced.
  • For managed, Known Host and Future Hosting are great.
  • I think you are getting too little RAM in this price. As you should be getting 8 GB RAM. I use Hostanic with 8 GB option that is much lower price
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I don't use VPS hosting services, but I remember, I was reading a book by MJ Demarco "The Fastlane Millionaire", and he was writing about Liquid Web.
This book is about making money through deliver value to the world, and in his opinion, Liquid Web is the best VPS hosting provider. This is why he wrote about it in his book.

  • LiquidWeb because of their Superior Customer Service.

Some of their featured clients are FedEx, United Nations, National Geographic, Mayo Clinic, Zappos, American Airlines, Motorola, Audi and MTV.

    They're the best.

    You can count on them.
