Doing Some Market Research on Everything Related To Bitcoin, The Blockchain, & Cryptocurrency

Howdy warriors!

Recently I've developed a keen interest in cryptocurrency, specifically bitcoin and the blockchain.

The idea I have in my head is to put together an all-in-one website that provides information about all of the different ways to profit from bitcoin and related technologies. For example, how to profit from mining, trading, and application development.

I'm really looking for any kind of bitcoin membership sites or guides related to profiting from bitcoin

As always, any links or information that you all would want to share would be greatly appreciated

You're not going to profit from Bitcoin mining these days, especially since the scheduled Bitcoin Halving.

    You might completely correct.

I'm very to new to this but it would seem that even after the halving there would still be some money to made.

    How about mining contracts?

Are there any resources you would recomend?

Miners barely profit these days, electricity is expensive. Cut that profit in half (Bitcoin Halving) and you're in the hole.

My advice is to personally use Bitcoin, the learning process alone should give you niche related ideas.

Of course, because I'm not a complete idiot, a Google search is the first thing I did

I assume that you have checked out https://bitcointalk.org/index.php? There is tons of information there about everything to do with cryptocurrency. Look out for the ADZcoin thread, its a very interesting project ;-)

Have you considered how you're going to make money from your web site and business?

Gathering information from around the Internet and trying to resell it for a decent profit seems to me to be a major challenge.

Not only that, but profiting from a niche that is truly struggling right now seems to me to be akin to building your business foundation on a sandy slope. What if Bitcoin collapses tomorrow, or next month, or next year?

Wouldn't it be better to build a business on something that is a little more stable?

If you are not planning to make money from this effort, i.e. this is you hobby, then forget the above.

I don't think you understand how much traffic there is with Bitcoin.

These aren't all chump change transactions either, I noticed one transaction just now for +118 Bitcoins, roughly $80,000.

Are these just random bitcoin transactions? Or are these just all bitcoin transactions?

Those are the transactions verified by the bitcoin blockchain.

    • Thanks for the advice!

I'm really not concerned about bitcoin collapsing anytime soon. I'm confident that it never will. The Winklevoss twins (the original creators of Facebook) are very heavily invest in BTC at the moment. If it's good enough for them then it is good enough for me

Bitcoin is indeed very volatile. However, I strongly believe that this will change over the next few years. In any case, the pubic interest in bitcoin is growing very rapidly. To me it seems like a venture worth exploring...

I was listening to some economists talking on the radio a few weeks ago and the topic was crypto currencies, bitcoin being the focus. And the one thing they all agreed on is, it has an unknown future. What they mean is, Bitcoin was made up after the last market crash which was 2008

No one knows how crytpo currencies will respond to a crash. Conventional thinking is it will be the first thing people will dump out of their portfolios. It might be like the big dot com crash back around 2001. And we all know why that bubble burst. There was nothing there, sort of like crypto currencies

I would agree that there is no way to know with 100% certainty what the future of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are.

          However, I do know this:

          1) Based on the 4 characteristics of money (portability, durability, divisibility, noncounterfitability) bitcoin is actually superior to gold. Watch this video 2) Some VERY big names are backing bitcoin 3) The blockchain is the greatest ledger system ever invented. It is so incredible that even the banking cartels, though they hate bitcoin, are obsessed with the blockchain
So while while the future of bitcoin is uncertain, to me it looks very, very promising
