Two IM things that are getting monotonous [or maybe I'm just jaded]
The rhetoric in sales letters is just a plain turnoff these days!
Do you want to make 200% more sales from your website?
Could you use another 10,000 visitors a month to your website?
Dull Dull Dull!
I suppose there must be some folks who respond to this inane rhetoric........but not me
I just click away.
Fake scarcity!
We keep being told that scarcity will improve conversion.
I have proven time and time again that honesty and transparency work way better that scarcity. Especially when that scarcity is obviously false [as it is in just about all cases]
"I have this amazing secret system that is making me millions, so I thought I would give all my secrets away for $7 but only to the first few....."
Let's be frank.....if you have a secret system that makes you millions, honestly......who in their right mind would want to give away the secret for only $7 AND have the nerve to try kidding people that there was a limited supply of said info.....I mean.....c'mon get REAL.
It's no wonder that shiny object syndrome is so rife in the industry.
OK mini rant over...sorry I just had to say it.
