Best Way To Sell and Deliver Digital Products

Hi all.

My business currently only has 1 product I sell, and it's an inexpensive digital download.

I am looking for advice for the best, easiest, and least expensive way to sell and deliver this product.

I don't want to have to pay $60 a month for something like 1shoppingcart.

I have optimize member, but it slows my entire site down tremendously, so I'm looking for an alternative.

Thank you for your recommendations!

  • Hey Casey,

There's no need to invest in or bother with the things you mentioned.

The most simple way would likely be to make your product into a PDF, then get a PayPal business account and put your "buy now" button on your site.

  • e-junkie.com is cheap and easy. Here are some more options.

    • I second that. E-junkie has been very good to me and is very simple to use.

  • I've been looking at different options myself - E-Junkie, Gumroad, SendOwl, Easy Digital Downloads & WooCommerce are ones that I am considering.

  • I have used e-junkie as well. Great alternative for the beginner - easy to use - up to 10 products.

Here's a special link for you if you use PayPal: 90 days free, 25% off your first subscription (go as long as possible to save even more):

    • Thanks guys! I took Steve B's advice and looked into E-Junkie. It's only $5 a month, and I had it set up in about 5 minutes.
  • I've heard really good things about these guys https://stripe.com/
  • Just set up WooCommerce on your site and link that with 2CheckOut. This is that easy.
  • Have you tried jvzoo?

You can host your digital products there & buyers can download their purchase after payment is made.
  • Gumroad and Sellfy are very quick to set up. Sellfy also has a marketplace to help gain a little community exposure.
  • FYI...JVZoo will market to your customers once they buy unless they uncheck the tiny checkbox at the bottom of the checkout page.

For easy, cheap startup, I prefer www.Zaxaa.com. They'll handle all sales, OTO's and deliver of the product. They also offer a free membership plugin that integrates with their platform if you prefer to keep control of your product delivery.

there was coupon code floating around the web where you the first 90 days free so if you search E-Junkie 90 day coupon you may find it , I shifted 1000 copies of an e-book and never had an issue with them

  • Don't worry for now about setting up membership website.

At the basic level, you can just host sales page at JVZOO, hook it up to your autoresponder and when people buy send them an email with download link.

Alternatively, if you still want it to look like some kind of membership then create nice HTML page, place it on your hosting and lock it up with a username and password in .htaccess file. Then when people buy send them link and credentials.

Basically, get your first product out there and start selling and make a delivery platform to be your long term project for the future products.
