Marketing strategy advice for Teespring venture
Been lurking here for some time, and now I am about to try out a new venture I would like some input from some of you seasoned Teespring people.
Some background: I have been in business out here in meatspace for longer than I care to admit, mainly in the graphics, printing, design and web design fields.
My only experience in IM has been to drive foot traffic to a physical location, and that has been fairly successful in the past.
My new venture will again be mainly location specific, serving local retail and B2B customers with custom garments, however, I am keen to experiment with my own designs and see if there is a market for my work. I think a fulfilment service such as Teespring would probably be the best litmus test.
My question is; I have quite a wide variety of interests and my designs would span several different niches. So when I create my internet presence (for physical business, website, social media etc) should I try to create a brand that covers everything, or set up a different identity for each niche and also a separate brand for the workaday stuff (pressing shirts for Guiseppe's Pizza).
I can see pro's and cons both ways, so would welcome any advice.
Thanks in advance for any posts!
Cheers,
Steve.
