We Used To Tell Newbies, "No One Will Do It For You!" We Were Wrong!

Hey All,

I've said it many times and I know many others have too.

Well, now there are numerous Done For You marketing systems available. We used to sell info. products that taught people how, but no one took action. Well, give the people what they want!

If you're thinking about creating a "how-to" product, maybe you should consider doing it for them.

Here's an example:

You create a product - "How to do email marketing from your website."

You teach people how to set up their Autoresponder and add forms to their site. Then you talk them through setting up their follow-ups and whew...that's a lot for some people. Overwhelming for some, but they want to do email marketing.

Option #2: You do it for them...

I'll use GetResponse for my example. With their beginner package, you can store up to 5000 records for $45 per month. You can have unlimited campaigns, forms, and follow-ups.

Let's say you offer to set up a follow-up series, add forms to customer websites and maintain the list up to 500 subscribers for $14.95 or $24.95 (examples) per month.

If you had 10 customers with lists under 500 at $24.95 each you would profit 204.95, per month. As customer lists grow you can charge more per month. As with most things, this would lend itself well to additional service offerings.

This is just an example, there are numerous opportunities to create DFY services.

I have to stop telling newbies, "No one is gonn...

Tons of HOW TO products and a couple of decades later...

MOST buyers of how to, never DO.

I've always offered a done for you, but it was cost prohibitive, and very expensive and the nice thing is, didn't need a lot of them to make some decent moolah.

Today, the majority of my customers fall in between, wanting a FAST START which proves some profits, and are willing to learn as they grow.

One can set up several models, (A) very high end, and target a handful a year (nice to have a couple of these)...

    (B) I set-it and they forget it, except when it starts to make some bux.

    (C) We work in tandem, often for a piece of the action and it becomes more of a vested mentor type thing.

Like in all things IM, the ground is layered with fruit fallen from the trees, and not worth (in my opinion) picking up.

There is low hanging fruit, which if structured so as not to take up much time, can account for a pay check...

The higher up the tree, the higher the fees, and, of course, more effort...but that is where the sustainable income hangs.

Nice to see you finally come around to the idea, one doesn't have to toil for years, if one spends money and not time to get their marketing up and running quickly.

This is just MY experience, so it may not ring true for all...

a client/customer becomes more motivated to stay the course, if they get some fast results. IF they make a little bit of money right away, they are more eager and willing to keep working to GROW their income. Again, just my experience.

One other consideration, I like contracts, keeps us all on the same page as far as what I do, what they do, and the expectations.
