Article Marketing Automation Shortfall

Just a quickie for anyone thinking about subscribing to the new Article Marketing Automation program.

Although an excellent idea and I'm sure, well run etc, there is one fairly major flaw that isn't advised on the front sales screen for those who want to publish the articles on their site.

In their own words:-

"You cannot add vanilla HTML sites here, including sites created with XSite Pro, FrontPage, DreamWeaver, etc"

The sites they do run with are:-

WordPress blogs 2.0.x onwards - blogs on Blogger.com - blogs on Tumblr.com - Drupal sites - Joomla! sites or other sites that have either an XML-RPC API or an Atom API - as must the Drupal and Joomla.

As I say - I'm sure it's a well run program and worthy for some but I thought for those like me who work specifically through XSP and D8 created HTML sites - handy to know.

Regards

Rufus

I think you'll find those rules are for publishing articles, not for posting articles.

If you want to publish the articles you can add a wordpress blog to one of your sites in a few minutes.

      D'oh.

Thanks Andrew - missed that bit out entirely!

Submitting fine, but if you wanted to benefit from the content coming in - it's a bit of a bu**er!

There goes the dreams of having good content added that was free (ish!)

But for publishing your own articles out in the wide world - could be seriously interesting.

        Hi Rufus,

As pointed out it would be pretty hard to install auto-articles on your html site without a dynamic integration device.

I've been testing AMA and the results are sensational. The articles are being drip-fed as promised and have a very high approval rate from content publishers.

If you want to take advantage of auto-content just install a Wordpress blog in a sub-folder/blog on your XSitePro website domain. If you have a c-panel host then you can use the function called fantastico to auto-generate one.

Make sure you link your blog back to your home site with a banner or text link ads between content modules.

          Hey James,
thanks for the feedback on AMA. I took you recommendation a while back and bought the xsitepro through your link and it is a great product. I also like your tips and videos you provide to help us out using the program. Great stuff

If you wanted to link to your site, you oculd install a plugin like AdRotater in the blog on your subdomain then insert your links to the pages you want in the plugin's database, and they would rotate being displayed in the incoming posts from AMA.

            Thanks Jose!

Yeah I only promote products I really like rather than every new product - some just plain suck and I care more about clients than chasing the dollar.
