How much money is present in doing business online?

Earning money is not easy and I know it so please do not throw that in the comments. What I need to know is that how much can a person really earn? Is it more than one can earn through a local business?

World Wide Web connects all people and there are many people in the world so you need a big setup to open a store like website that ships to every part of the work but one can still think about launching a product that is available in a country.

What do you guys think? Should someone start a local business or Start an Online business?

        Thank You for the kind advice bro. I am really going to work on it and I like to daydream because that is the period where I get most of my ideas and so did many famous scientists.

    you can earn the same amount in Local Business as well as in Global Online Business. and vice versa.
    All depends what you are offering, how much it costs and how many or how well is your traffic targeted

    Buy yes you can earn a lot of money on Internet, you dont need to ship products, you can sell digital products which you dont need to ship if someone buy.
    All is about traffic and how to promote your content, or website.

    Quality Interested traffic = big profits. the same is in real life in local business.
