I'm sure Facebook posts are up there pretty high. As are adding your signature to forums.

Any new or unique stuff? Any tips on social platforms?

Thanks.

Forget posting ads in Facebook groups. I've posted thousands with links back to my Facebook page and never made a penny that way. The same with Twitter. The best social platform? Youtube.

Remember Youtube is owned by Google so if you produce a video correctly, it will also show up in the organic searches on Google. Whatever you decide to promote, make a short review video with your affiliate link in the description box. This is by far a better way than Facebook Twitter Pinterest and all the others.

Youtube is a search engine and people love video. So if you make a good honest review of a product or service, you're sure to get results.

I know what you mean. While scanning down I sometimes felt the desire to say "please elaborate" for some.

Beside Facebook, I think you can try with Instagram, it's one of the fastest social platform now.

Think Youtube and Instagram, they are the big platforms at the moment, everyone loves videos and pictures more than written information, easier to digest

A note from something I learned.

If you do have an affiliate program, when scouting for candidates, be sure to make it clear that you would help them setup the affiliate account if they are having trouble. In my niche, an affiliate program is virtually nil, so I noticed a lot of contributing artists to my books not signing up for it.

So, I told them that I would help them and they tried on their own first and asked me any questions after. If it's with Clickbank, it's simple to help affiliates after they've created the actual account and username.

Giving affiliates actual templates they can use to promote also is a huge bonus and will entice more to join, aside from having a high converting sales letter of course. These steps need to be done before the actual launch of course.

I think in 2016, having your own email list is super important. When you build an email list you have access to traffic on command. Just write an email, link to your website or blog, and hit send.

The bigger your list the more clicks you can drive.

Try it out if you don't have one already

Same thing that we would have done in 2008 still works. It all depends on the approach.

    Here are my take:

    Blogging
    Video
    Forums
    Social networking
    Feeds
    Guest posting

This is what I plan to implement for a launch I plan on being involved with near the end of this year:

    * Email marketing through my Get Response account
    * Joint-Venture collaborations I have established in advance
    * Maximizing Social Media sites such as Facebook, etc
    * Scale my Google Adwords marketing campaign

    ...Just to mention a few

E-mail marketing and YouTube marketing are most powerful ways to promote an offer. Both ways bring real traffic for your business. These are great opportunity to reach your customers directly.

You can give these ways a try

The best way? What works for you!

Now with that said the best thing is to learn what works from someone who has the success allready applied! That is why posts here on warrior forum for instance are not always educating enough due to lack of experience in what works.

Free ways are limited when it is about reaching the masses with your offer!

Now the best way is education and that costs but will pay you back as you apply what you learn.

Now imagine you know how to set up an ad campaing on FB. You daily budget could be $10 or 5 but as you learn to do better ads then you get paid back in return. Suddenly you are a FB ad master.

What you need know is the system that has the training available for you to start how to do ad campaings on FB for $ 5 - 10 a day or what you want to set the daily budget on.

Getting out there with an army of ad groups is fun and educating + a challenge. FB has fair to cheap traffic so you can learn without getting to pay highly like Google adwords.

A word to products and you need what works as otherwise the refund rate will ruin it for you.

    Things that still work fine:

    - Launch a Product with Affiliates: They do the hard job (send you traffic) and you build a list (+ make money of course).

    - Video Marketing: Powerful.

    - Email Marketing: Although every day there are new barriers to reach the inbox (thanks to GMail and others), it's still a great way to make money on demand.

Free ways certainly narrows down your options. Of course, all social media platforms can be beneficial. Try to promote your offer locally?

Get some honest feedback which you can use as testimonials. Include this when promoting your offer, to help your audience build trust.

I've had a lot of luck selling original products, SEO services, and coaching via Twitter, and am just learning the power of Instagram. I think Instagram is going to be a powerhouse seller for me once I figure it all out. So, definitely make use of Twitter and Instagram. Done the right way, and targeted to the right audience, you can do quite well for free.

I think what is missing is what lies between the lines: engagement / relationship building.

We have all these methods and terminologies, but what makes the sale is how well we're able to engage our prospects with their solution. This process is building a relationship and we should all keep that in mind when we are trying this method or that one.

In most failed marketing attempts, it is not the method that failed, but our implementation of the method without the goal of building a relationship with our niche markets.
