Amazon kindle ebook: can I take mine down?

Question:I'm very well known in a competitive industry; I'm considering publishing on Amazon via kindle ebooks... but what if many competitors post flame/troll fake bad reviews? could I remove the listing, or no? any ideas?

    1. If you're that well known, shouldn't you have raving fans that will buy it and post positive reviews on launch?

    2. If you have a stream of 1 star unverified reviews, you can e-mail Amazon and request their removal.

    You can "Unpublish" a book at any time from your author's account. The book will disappear from the listings but it will stay on your account so that you can re-publish it again if you want.
