Aweber Questions: Segmenting follow up + single or double opt in??

Hi

I've got 2 questions concerning Aweber:

1 - Is it somehow possible to segment a followup sequence? I've been searching the web, but coudn't find any useful info.

2 - Do You guys use double or single optin.

Years ago, I was taught to use double opt in, but during my search for the answer on question 1, I found out many marketers use single optin... Now I'm confused...

    1. Yes, however not in the standard aweber features.

    Simply go to https://awprotools.com/ and signup for the free trial/paid packages.

    It adds all the automation features that aweber is lacking into aweber.

    2. I personally use single optin in.. however there is no right answer to this.

    Trust me on that, it has been a dilemma for thousands of marketers and there is no right answer.

    It's kinda like politics.. where both candidates have both pros and cons and you hope that you could have a perfect candidate to vote for.

    Tip: Just choose one and go for it (If it's not working, then pivot and go for the other)

    Answer to your second question:

    If you want quality, and clean go for double opt-in...
    If you want quantity, then go for single opt-in...
