Dear Warriors,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a simple tip on how to promote your sales page through articles.
Let us say i have a sales page ready and i want to build a site around it.
I'll be writing articles do seo
The question is how do i promote my sales page...
Through internal linking? Through putting a call to action on each of my article?
Any other way....?

What you're asking is really the essence of this whole forum . . . how do you market what you're selling.

You do it in every way you can using all the tools at your disposal. You asked about articles - they are just one tool among many to attract prospects, educate them in the niche, and direct them back to your web site for more niche goodness.

Your articles are your content and they are distributed around the Internet pointing back to your web site for those that would like to hear more about your niche. Think of each article as a little billboard for your business. Put these billboards in front of your niche prospects and promote them so others can find their way back to your site.

    Hey Bud,

    Hope you are doing good!

There are so many methods of doing it- but one that sometimes is overlooked as it can take a bit of time to get some traction with it is through a facebook page. The big thing here though- its not about putting the sales page down people's throats on every post. Spend time creating valuable content- actual posts that contain value that will attract likes and 'fans' essentially. Every so often do a promotion post- but don't just offer a promotional page.

Over time- you will start getting some traction. What is also good on the FB page is you can have a call to action button on their- maybe to your sales page. On your cover photo you can put some text so the potential customer can see that they are supposed to click on it. It really is a neat way of promoting your page.

Hope this helps in some way dude, drop me a message or reply if you have any other questions.

    Take care,

    James.

Another way you can market with Articles is to submit them to Article Directories as long as they are unique. Simply put up a landing page with a free gift that relates to your salespage & offer a free gift. Link to that page from your Author's Box in the Article. When they sign up to get the free gift, then redirect them to your salespage.

As stated, their are many ways to use articles to market your website, & no one right way. Find what you are comfortable with & use that.

All of the above comments are great!!

You should definitely consider creating an effective call to action to redirect your visitors to your pricing page. Couple of tips: Make sure the color of your CTA button stands out but is consistent with the color scheme on your site. Your messaging is the most important! Use first person, power words and please avoid using phrases like "Submit" or "Register Now". You can be more creative than that

A thing i did was writing around a current situation for specific niche groups on Facebook. It spreads between the group and it gets shared to friend that aren't in the group and continues. A good example of this would be when the feminist that i can't remember the name of said all men should be in concentration camps i wrote an article for the Men's activist group on Facebook. It was for the Tao of Badass. It wasn't the best thing to make the comparison of the event to product but i got a decent amount of sales. It's cost effective at $0.00 to try the method so give it a whirl.

they say it's all about content - it's the same for your sale page, the key question is what you sell? If it's different, better or more efficient than what your competition, then you have a shot. There are great comments above, when you publish your articles, you can add links to your page, you can use social networks, google + might be a good choice, but be careful how you set up and maintain (!) your groups - you can search through this forum to find some good posts on the use of the social networks. Hope that helps.
