If you promote products or services that require a person to "Fall" for your offer then you should really re-think what you are doing. The MMO niche is alive and well with many people that offer quality products that people can really find useful.

It is not that people are smarter it is just they finally catch on to peoples lies

people Do get smarter these days. met 4 guys last week, got invited to a birthday
dinner, the average IQ was 157. Nice, finally guys that understand things, they are
all between 22 and 25, all travelers, nobody wants to go home, everybody wants
to start a real biz. Does IM qualify? Sometimes, if its good, its one of the best options.

Seriously? You hang-out with people that sit around and discuss their IQ's? That's pathetic and something generally not done by people with relatively high IQ's.

I beginning to think that your post are full of BS, and I'm no genius. I also think that I'm not alone in believing that.

Oh, so you analyzed them and determined the range of their IQ's. If you think we're buying that boatload of crap, your IQ is around 45, in my assessment, of course.

When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. Even someone with a 45 IQ should know that. lol

Depends what you determine smarter? I would certainly say a lot more cautious.

Also by your statement "people dont fall for this anymore" sounds like you're trying to sell them something that doesn't work?

If you have this attitude towards your potential customers, I understand that you did not succeed to make them "fall".

Remember to help others with your marketing ventures before thinking of personal gain. I'm sure customers will be smart enough to make the difference between a profiteer who only is trying to make money on their back and someone who has something legitimate to offer.

More and more people are buying my products in the Online marketing space. Why? Because I have good reviews and the system work.

I think you are right that people are less naive. 10 years ago ( I was not doing online marketing at that time), but you could literally send an email to your list and pretty much everybody would open it. Now it is way harder to get people to open them.

The real question: Are YOU getting smarter?

But seriously, no one should ever rely on the same tactic or method forever. There are trends and seasons for everything. What's easy now, won't be in the future and what used to be easy in the past is competitive now. If you get stuck in fixating on what's easy to do, you'll never build the kind of business that endures.

Instead, take advantage of what's easy to do now and invest in a long-term business that will ride through every trend.

"Smarter" can be defined in lots of ways. I concur with the others in saying that if you are trying to make people fall for things, then you're obviously not doing something right or good.

I know there are a LOT more people trying to make money from home these days that ever before. Sadly, many of them are looking for the type of business where you can do 2=4 hours per week, spend $10 and make $100k+ within the first month. It's a combination of being gullible, not thinking things through, laziness and who knows how many other attributes.

If you want to earn good money online by running a BUSINESS as opposed to a scam or MLM, you need to put in the time and effort to achieve success and appreciate that it won't be easy or quick...or even regular for a while. If you want a regular income, you need to go and get a J. O. B.
    Just my 5 cents.

true, but most of them are not the innovators they are BECAUSE of religion. It's just an aspect of their lives

Again, true... but a small minority. Most advancements in science and medicine are not powered or motivated by the belief in the Almighty..

Perhaps i didn't articulate myself well... I'm talking about those extreme ones.. .. I'm talking about the bible thumpers that go around door to door telling people they have "holes in their hearts" and that they need Jesus.

That's one advantage about living in Japan that you really notice as a westerner,

religion here is more socio-cultural.. most people here don't follow any systematized belief.. sure they have obon (week of the dead) and ohshogatsu (new years) where they flock to shines and temples twice a year to reflect and pray....
but these are more societal norms than religious beliefs..

Now, when I visit family and friends in South Florida or Ohio, then it's a different story..
There is always some type of Christian or Catholic (btw..I grew up catholic) telling me that I shouldnt do this or that because god said this and that..

some of these people I love, but i know there are certain conversations (non-religious and religious) that I can't have with them because they'll get angry with me or they'll say "that's the devil talking.."

these same people often make terrible misinformed choices all the while believing god will bail them out..

and i see this time and time again in my country, where millions of religious Americans are preyed upon by swindlers and politicians....

        god bless,

    Hi there,

Thought id get involved here for a sec! I absolutely believe there is a huge need for this niche. But as someone has already put, its not about making people 'fall' for it. It's about hard work through creating a well thought out sales funnel, with genuine and actual value for someone to be inspired by. Many of these programs do cost four figures, so it is absolutely vital to have a strong community and a even stronger training program.

    Hope this helps,

      Silly.

Fiverr is killing it right now, today, so obviously there's a bunch of suckers out there in La La Land.

Go look at some of the worst backlink gigs on fiverr, look at their queued orders. Those are fresh off the bus IM dreamers buying that junk.

      You're joking, right?

People NEVER "love to get scam." Not then, and not now.

And if you think the"make money online" niche is not profitable nowadays, you must have your head buried in the sand.

The "mmo" niche is one of the most profitable niches in existence. In fact, it's considered to be a "super niche." It has been for years, is now, and always will be.

Take a look at the product launches and the top selling products on JVZoo and Warrior Plus. They are ALL in the "mmo" niche. Excellent marketers are constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to make honest money online.

Some top vendors can easily make over 1000 sales on launch day alone. Saying that nobody knows about the "mmo" niche and that it's not profitable nowadays is pure lunacy. It's MORE PROFITABLE than it's ever been and as more and more people want to become their own bosses it's only going to get even bigger and more profitable in months and years to come.

I have been in the niche since 2008, and I do the SAME exact thing now that I did then.

I set up a killer sales funnel, send targeted traffic to that funnel, build a list, and then promote QUALITY products to my subscribers. I make a killing and have been for the last 6 years. It worked great then and it still works great now. It's really not rocket science as long as you know how to generate targeted traffic.

Every year my income grows, and I'm a top 1% affiliate on Warrior Plus, so either I'm the only IMer making money in the "mmo" niche, or it's a hugely proftable niche.

Normally I hold my tongue but I just have to say my side hurts from laughing so hard at some of the clueless posts I've read in this thread.

I've been in the "mmo" niche since I started in 2008. Every year my income increases. As far as I'm concerned, if you promote quality products that deliver on their promises and make great additions to a customer's business and actually teach them a valuable skill, you will have no problem making sales.

Of course, I own and use every single product I promote. I make videos showing my subscribers that I own the product and I show them what the product does and how to achieve positive reults with it. Maybe that's why I have no problems making sales. I don't try and make people "fall" for anything. I provide proof that the product is a quality purchase that is going to help them achieve their goals.

BTW, if your attitude is to make people "fall" for anything, you don't belong doing whatever it is your're doing. Your goal should be to help people. If you help people get what they want first, then you will get you want.

Honestly, I'm blown away by the subject of this thread. It's actually tough to hold in my anger. Maybe it was just the way the OP worded the post. Nobody that is selling digital products, or products of any kind for that matter, should have a goal of making people "fall" for buying their products. GEEZ!

Nicheblogger 75 is right. You are not going to make sales just by advertising your link. People are much more cautious now and need to know who they can trust.

The modern way of doing things is by setting up a funnel system. This is where you advertise a valuable product for free (not rubbish) to capture email addresses. You then email your subscribers with good free subject matter and the occasional offer. When your subscribers know that they can trust you, they will buy from you.

        EXACTLY! Someone who gets it!

I constantly see threads on this forum with people whining about how they can't make money online and this niche is no good anymore, this is saturated, that doesn't work, blah blah blah...

Give me a break! Making money online is not very difficult, and it's even easier in the MMO niche!

In the MMO niche people are practically begging you to show them a course that will teach them.

I have literally not changed one thing about my business since 2008 and evey year I consistently experience anywhere from 5% -10% income growth.

I'm gonna save you all a bunch of money you would probably give to some "goofru" and tell you how I do it.

        1. Set up a squeeze page and give away a solid, original course (not some junk PLR). You need to appear and brand yourself so people know they just subscribed to a real persons list. In other words, brand yourself.

        2. Drip feed the course to them and with each part of the course include promo links for things the people will need, like hosting, domain, autoresponder, link tracking, funnel building software, WP plugins, etc. Rake in recurring commissions from that stuff. This is called a funnel. You need a good one or you won't make any money.

        3. After you finish sending them the course they should know exactly how you are making money online. If they don't, your course sucks and they probably won't follow you or buy anything from your recommendations. Sorry if that's blunt but if you want it sugar coated go to a candy shop.

Continue sending them great tips in the form of blog posts. And guess what? Include links to useful products and courses at the bottom of your blog posts.

        4. Send out promos for useful products that you know will help your subscribers. DON'T recommend products that you haven't used or bought yourself. I don't want to hear the line about how you can't afford to buy every product you promote, either. Find a way to get it. Most of the time the vendor will give you a review copy if you ask nicely.

Now for traffic. I get my subscribers from 7 places. They are:

        1. Solo ads (I invest 25% of my sales into these)
        2. YouTube
        3. Free WSOs
        4. My blog (from organic traffic)
        5. Funnel swaps/ Download page swaps with other marketers
        6. Buyers list from product launches
        7. JV giveaway events (yes they DO work - the whole "freebie seeker" theory is BS)

        THAT'S IT FOLKS!

Now you know all of my "secrets."

It's so easy it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

So why do so many people fail?

Well, because they are off chasing "get rich quick" methods that never work.

It took me almost 3 YEARS before I made enough money to support myself with the money I made online. However, through HARD WORK and a desire to succeed, I am now a top 1% affiliate on Warrior Plus and probably within the top 5% on JVZoo (they don't tell you so I don't know).

Bear in my mind that I am mostly an affiliate. 90% of my income comes from promoting other people's products.

If you get anything from this post it should be that you MUST build a list and you MUST have a proper sales funnel and promote good products to your subscribers.

        Now go make money online!

There has always been an evolution of a "Normal Crowd" to a "Smart Crowd"

There's of course tons of dumb people still out there lol

    But remember this...

The Smartest Crowd Pays the Most If You Convince Them That Everything Is Going To Work Out Great!

I think there are a lot of people online who have previously "fell for traps", and they are learning to avoid them!

Instead of smarter, I was thinking people now possess common sense or are less gullible.
