Here's How I Got 21 Leads For "Free" Today...

Hey folks, I recently set up a brand new bing account and I wanted to test some traffic on there... Today I received 21 FREE leads from bing as a result of my ad.

Here's how I made my ads free:

Step 1: I set up a simple squeeze page...
Step 2: I set up a pre-sale for an affiliate offer as a thank you page...
Step 3: I set up my ads in bing...
Step 4: Today I received 38 clicks, which resulted in 21 leads...

I've spent just under $9 so far for that traffic... (well to be honest, I have a bing ads credit so I haven't really spent a dime of my own money).

As a result of the leads I generated... I've made $9 in immediate income by promoting a cost-per-lead offer on my thank you page.

Now, ALL the revenue that my follow-up messages generate will be pure profit. This is a new account, but I want to scale this to 100 leads per day or more...

I break-even with my CPL offer on day one... And everything else is pure profit.I haven't optimized my ads, or my capture page yet, because this still in the testing phase.

So for every $1 I'm spending, I'm getting back $1 immediately. Once I optimize it, I should be able to make $2-$3 upfront. If not day, at least within four-days with my follow-up sequence.

No, most of my quality scores are 8/10, some 7/10, a few 9/10 and 10/10.

I'm assuming you have one keyword per ad group then,

is it a typical SP (headline, benefit copy, calltoaction optin box)?

No, I have a general campaign that has 900+ keywords in it... A lot of the keywords that are getting clicks have a high quality score. I wasn't getting the amount of traffic I wanted so I took two of my best keywords and made separate adgroups for just those two specific keywords. Ended with 71 free leads yesterday.

Yeah it's a typical squeeze page. I took what I learned from adwords back in the day and adapted it to bing, thats something that I don't see most people doing.

Bing is great but there are a lot of great marketing sources out there.

You just have to test them out and see which ones work for you and which ones don't.

  towards the top,,, like this:

  just use a plugin, optimize press or lead pages.... its much easier that way to create SPs..

Day one results mean very little. The amount you make from each subscriber over time is what really matters.

Ended yesterday with 71 leads, so far today I have 40 leads for today the last time I checked.

So, how much have you made off them??

Do a long term, comprehensive test, then you will have something worth sharing.

  My average cpc is like .30 cents. I haven't really lowered my cpc on many keywords. I've actually increased it on my ads that I have with a high ctr. My highest ctr campaign is over 12% CTR. I'm probably paying almost half the cost I'm actually bidding in that instance.

I haven't logged in to my Bing account in some time. Been mostly focusing on Facebook. Hope I still have my old Bing password somewhere.

I think it was still called MicroSoft AdCentral last time I was there.
