Woke up this morning to this...

After a lot of hard work, posting regularly, giving useful guides and information to my users I have noticed a small increase to traffic each week... but yesterday it spiked, and I woke up to some great news... £450 over night!!! well I don't expect this to continue (but I hope it does).

However, the problem is I want to see where this traffic is coming from - some of it is organic traffic but a large portion of it is direct traffic that is going direct to this post and converting... which seems unlikely because its a long URL - would it be the case that someone has cloaked the URL to stop showing refer in analytics or something and its showing as direct?

It was more to determine how the traffic was coming to my site, as it seems a bit strange for it to be direct

How about installing an analytic to monitor your traffic.

Fact is, if you can determine where your traffic is coming from you can actually keep the sales coming in and even increase it..

If you know the source and keywords, you can keep the organic traffic coming steadily or buy PPC campaign..

I do have google analytics installed, but its just saying direct - but seems rather strange to get direct traffic to an inner page.

Its a bingo site, thats just UK traffic - I run a gambling affiliate, but this post was popular because they can refer friends and make £50.
