Would You Return To A Site Like This?

I'm once again considering making a blog for my original wallpapers. I have some ideas for how I may be able to monetize it.

The wallpapers are for phones, but I may make some desktop sizes available too. The question is, is that something people would want to come back to at least somewhat often? I promote my designs on social media, and would continue to do that for this blog. Do you think that would appeal to only a very small demographic? I know there's some wallpaper fans out there, as I've seen some of them on Google Plus, but what do you all think? Would you keep revisiting a site like that, especially if it didn't have a bunch of ads everywhere like most of them do?

    would they come back frequently?

no, because its a non-essential product we dont care about - You do

you you need a blog for that?

no, unless you want to talk with like-minded

customers download it, thats the point they stop to care

the only way to make money with that:

high download numbers + pay per view ads

    Hi Nathan,

If you found some wallpaper fans on Google Plus, yes, they would return to your blog often. Because they are fans.

Not only that, since billions of people are alive now, and we often spot patterns among billions of humans, in the online world, I betcha there's a huge market for what you do. Because if small pockets can be found with limited research, larger pockets are available in different areas online. And those smaller pockets will grow when a passionate blogger like you expands the niche with your inspired site.

At one time - mid 90's - blogging was a joke. Nobody cared about it. A few pockets of bloggers existed online and if you asked people online and offline if folks would care to return to your "something called a blog", they'd have laughed you off, and shot you down, similar to what some folks do.

Don't listen to these folks. Listen to your passion. Connect again and again with those G Plus Community members, asking how you can help them, providing free content, posting helpful, link-free content concerning your niche there, and ask 'em where more folks from the niche congregate.

Give all your attention and energy to this group of folks, start your blog with passion and the folks will love what you do will return again and again. Because if they are fan-atics, they won't be able to get enough of what you do.

All the best with your launch Nathan.

If you're asking about me, the answer is NO, I would not return. But I'm not a fan of wallpapers, so I think your best bet is going to those wallpaper fans you said you saw on Google Plus, and asking them if they would return to a site like yours. I think thats your best bet. No point asking about porn sites from priests.....if you get my drift.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Tell me more about this 'porn.'

Lol, I'm also a priest.....maybe we should wait for the porn fans (or porn wallpaper fans) to come and enlighten both of us...

I've read (in more than one place) that all you need are 100 passionate fans to make a full-time income at something. If you know there are wallpaper fans out there, concentrate on connecting with them, building relationships, getting to know them and what they like, what they want, what motivates them to download or purchase a wallpaper. Then, work on cultivating 100 passionate fans from that community. They are the ones who will return to your site again and again, and refer other wallpaper fans, too.
