How to pitch the most busy bloggers in the world with your guest post request?

Hello Warriors!

I know there has been a lot said on guest posting -- scripts, swipe files, trainings and fix guidelines are all scrambled over the internet.

But today, I would like to share one important PRE-REQUISITE that most of the people miss out on.

I call it "Getting familiar"

I think one of the most probable reasons why most of the guest post requests eat dust is "No prior interaction." The most busy bloggers in the world get tens of guest posts request each day.

If your name sounds familiar to them - you increase your selection chances by many folds. (at least your email gets opened!).

How you should make yourself known to them? (they are the busy ones, right?)

Well, there are many ways. Almost all the bloggers have one favorite social media platform. Some like to hang out on twitter, other prefer facebook (Gosh, there is snapchat too!). These are perfect locations where you can hit the bulls eye.

Retweet their stuff. Ask questions that are easy-to-answer yet interesting (yeah, with some butter and cream). Maybe, write them an appreciation email titled "I just fell in love with you." The possibilities are limitless.

Your name flashes in front of them twice or thrice and viola! You are all set to pitch them with a guest post request.

Reminder: Pitching them with an extraordinary guest post idea (even better than your own content) still holds the NO.1 position on why most guest posts get accepted.

I'd say that is an excellent insight!

It's even gold, for free. I'd add that one still needs to be careful with the pace and tone in the approach, and really have at heart to first seek with great interest and friendship to what the "influential people" of his market is doing.

Hi Andre, Thanks for the appreciation!

Well, that's a great additional point. Getting a strong know-how of your market, the buzz words, the trends, and what WORKS and what NOT, is an equally essential pre-requisite. One must not sound amateur in his guest post pitch!

      Thanks

This is probably the best answer to your question (how to pitch influential bloggers) you are going to get:

A video of Neil Patel. He tells you how to at min 30:10.

I have learned from another video his intentions to expand his businesses to non english markets and I sent him several emails asking if i could help him somehow since i am located in one of the areas where he wants to expand...

    1st email he didn't answered.
    2nd email he didn't answered.
    3rd email he didn't answered.
    4th email he did answer!

I would say if you want to collaborate with this big names find out what is it that they need in the first place and how you could help them not viceversa.

Hi, thanks for adding your useful input! I think that's a brilliant strategy -- looking out for what these BIG GURUS are looking for and then pitching them with a solution.

It may require a little extra effort - a thorough research onto your favorite blogger and hunting for things he is looking for.

      Thanks for your insights!

HI, my name is Nick, I am an expert in everything and I have a 100.00 that proves that. Can I be a quest poster on your blog.

I think that should work pretty good. :-)
