How effective is building your funnel/list and using solo adds to send traffic?

I need to get something straight. Is an Opt-in page your squeeze page? Or are they 2 different things?

Also do i need to create a domain to create a squeeze page through wordpress?

    you need a domain but you dont need Wordpress you can rock it out old school with NVU

        Its true you can get a free squeeze page with getresponse, the basic package with the autoresponder that is $15 bucks gets you one page and 1000 views a month, are you can just pay an extra 15 bucks just for spueeze pages and get unlimited pages and views. Its user friendly and they host everything and provide links for each one. I just tested one using bing ads and it worked great.

    This is very effective, but it depends on how it is crafted though. Moreover, it also depends much on HOW (as in pre-sell technique) you send people to that "squeeze" page.

    A squeeze page, of course, must have an opt-in form otherwise I do not see the purpose of having a "squeeze" page. On the other hand, an opt-in form or page does not necessarily have to be a squeeze page.

    Yes they are the same. No you do not absolutely have to have a domain. You can use a secondary site, or free domain for it if you have too.

    As others have mentioned they are the same thing.
    Imo you really should have your own domain and hosting. You could use Wordpress if you want but it's not required.

    I should explain what I mean by other ways. Aweber has what is called a hosted web form. Which you could host on their servers, there are many that do this.

    You could get a free hosting account and domain name if you have too.

    I have gotten into many arguments with people saying it just will not work.

    It will not work well, but it will work. Especially if you have no money.

    I used to teach groups how to do this and make their first dollar in IM.
    We went with free hosting and domain name. Or used blogs. Used mailchimp and I would always highly suggest when they made their first sell to get hosting and a domain name.

    I still have the same host I bought from here a couple of years ago. Interserver, they have a 1.99 lifetime coupon in the hosting section. 1.99 per month. Good luck.

    If you're talking about wordpress.com no. Wordpress.org which is self-hosted, yes. Go with self hosted.

    This is what a lot of marketers are doing to make money.
    You can search for Brendon Mace. He has a lot of videos on youtube, and this is what he's doing to make $10k monthly.
    I don't enjoy the way he promotes products and services (very aggressive), but I learn from his experience. He has a list campaign of 200 messages!
