Help with adding a Form to a website.

Hey guys,

I'm having a problem adding a form to my site. Everything is good to go but when you click on the "submit" button it automatically open outlook for the message to be send. I want it to automatically send it to my email address.

Any help is appreciated.

    You will need a script that will process and send the form to your email address, then point your submit button to that script. There are some nice free ones out there if you're up to trying to host the script on your own site. If not, google email me forms, and you'll find some services that will do it for you.

    If you want to host the script yourself, your host must support cgi scripts.

    Here's a link to a free one that I've used. No, I'm not affiliated. http://www.emailmeform.com/ It is limited unless you pay for it. It can be quirky, so I personally prefer to host it myself. I'll give you more info if you're up to installing and customizing your own script... and your host supports it.

    Have you tried Google Docs?

    You can make a simple form with some very nice themes for free!

    When you log in, just click on "New" over to the left and select "Form". Very easy to use and does the job. It has their link in it, of course, but if you can live with that it's a cracker. Enjoy!
