WF Support -- Holy cow, Thomas!

I just wanted to give a tip o' the hat, slap on the back and a big round of applause for Thomas (the guy answering the help desk inquiries).

I submitted a ticket at 3:22 to report a PM spammer.

At 3:23 Thomas wrote back to let me know the user was banned.

Look at those times. That's not a typo. He answered the inquiry in ONE minute. Crap, he's autoresponder fast!

WTG, Thomas! You deserve some recognition for all your hard work!

Cheers,
Becky

Who needs stealth tracking hamsters? All you have to do is listen for the bagpipes and the drunken singing.

Shermaine -- I didn't know it took five posts to make the "thanks" button appear. I learned something new.

Speaking of which -- has anyone actually seen Big Mike since he made the post in this thread? *gulp*

If you're calling me an old bird, I can't even begin to imagine what you'd call some of the other posters in this thread.

Thanks, Becky, for mentioning this. Thomas is one of the great unsung class acts of this place.

    So true Becky.

Thomas handled a boat load of tickets and did manual set-ups for the new war room members over the last few days ... quickly and with a smile.

    You rock THomas.

      Becky, You nailed it!

I've never had to wait very long for a reply.
Heck, I think once he replied before I ask the question.

      Thomas, You Rock!

      Good thread Becky!

      Thanks!

I wouldn't doubt it. I'm pretty sure Thomas was composing his reply to me at the exact moment I was composing my original message to him. It's only the way to explain it -- he's super-human. Or psychic. Or both.

        Cheers,

Now that was weird because before I hit the Submit button on my post above,
I removed the part calling Thomas "Super Man". I didn't want to embarrass

Here's how I look at this: I didn't need a response, but he went out of his way to quickly respond anyway. That's awesome.

Meanwhile, I've submitted help desk inquiries to companies with a pre-sale question. There I am, sitting credit-card-in-hand, waiting for two or three WEEKS to get a reply. The "I'm going to order this" feeling tends to go away after a few weeks.

Then sometimes when you do get a reply, it's a canned response that doesn't make sense. For example, you ask: "Do you allow pets at your resort cabin?" And they reply, "You'll need to supply your own beach towels." heh.

So it's refreshing to see such dedicated, fast, helpful customer service. Rock on,Thomas. Rock on, Allen.

    Cheers,
    Becky

That's the reason Warrior Forum is not lagging behind and waiting for one visitor to come to their site.

Same sentiment here from me. Big thanks to Thomas. He was a big help to me a week or so back, and I appreciate it greatly.

I've moderated forums before, obviously tiny compared to this, and found even that super stressful. I can't begin to imagine the pressure of moderating this forum. It doesn't go unnoticed, or unthanked. Thanks Thomas!

What a nice post to acknowledge good service - not enough of this type of thing - yet people are so quick to complain when something has gone wrong! Good stuff!

Thomas probably got a flood of complaints -- and he still handled it super fast. Very impressive.

I've had occasion to deal with Thomas myself and I must admit I thought the swiftness of his response was a bit of a fluke (Obviously not bless him)

Allen I think the guy deserves a raise lol

I remember sending in two tickets all because I couldn't find the "thanks" button. I thought my account was bugged or something and was feeling panicky. I bet Thomas, and the rest of you are laughing up your sleeves now. Didn't know I needed 5 post counts for the "thanks" button to magically appear.
