Good mind mapping software?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm looking for mind mapping software (it does not need to be free), and was wondering what others out there have come across.

I'd like something the looks really sharp, as I want to use it for creating some camtasia videos which I plan to market.

The only one that I've found that is easy to use, and has a UI that is easy to navigate is "Free Mind"...

  Hi, I am not sure if this will help, but in case you are not familiar with the google wonder wheel you might want to look at it. It is fashioned after mind mapping but looks at things from a google search perspective. It is not mind mapping but could be used in the same way for certain applications. OK, good luck, Ed.

I personally like Mindjet: Brainstorming, Free Form Thinking, and Visual Aid Mind Mapping Software Program...

It's not cheap but it's very intuitive once you get used to it. I've used to outline sales copy, reports... Plan product launches, outline business plans... All of the good stuff that mind mapping can do.

You can also create maps and it'll generate html to publish it on a website, embed in a blog, etc.

You can get it at a discount if you go to Academic Superstore.

To buy from Academic Superstore, you'll just need to fax in a copy of a student ID. So if you are a student or you have a student in your household, you're good to go. Even an elementary school ID or report card works, I believe.

I check this site for ALL software before buying, and usually get it at a significant discount.

  I've personally tried FreeMind and didn't like it all that much. I am now using MindJet and absolutely love it. If you have a Microsoft products, Vizio is another alternative.
  
  Finally, you can also use Bubbl.us or Mindmeister.com for free online alternatives.

  Hi,
  Over the last 10 years I have tried many different Mindmap programs and for the last 2 years have been using Tony Buzans iMindmap which is brilliant. It uses the mindmap laws better than any other software I have used. Unfortunately when I am at work I cannot use it as I am unable to download the software onto my PC, which is a bit frustrating.
  I have tried many different online Mindmap applications, but none of them felt quite right, Mindomo, Mindmeister etc.
  I have recently been using an online web application called mapmyself, which at the moment is in beta, and looks like a stripped down version of iMindmap. This mindmap software has a lot of potential, is easy to use, and you can create some fantastic mindmaps.
  You can create 2 mind maps for free, after that you can either pay monthly, quarterly or yearly (which is the cheaper option, works out at around $4 pm). Sometimes you have to pay for the best, and for me this is worth paying for.
  For now, you can only use it with IE, however if you use Firefox you can download the IE add-on. You may also need to install Microsofts Silverlight application.

  I used a commercial product called MindGenius a few years ago. They're UK-based and still doing well AFAIK.
  
  One I haven't seen mentioned here is NovaMind.
  I've used this product and there's some significant mind muscle built into it.
  New V5 about to appear.
  Lots of free content to show what their product can do.

Out of all the free ones I've tried this has been the best... Mind Map Freeware - Create mind maps (graphical representations of thought processes) for brainstorming, problem solving, rational analysis, and decision marking.
