GoDaddy Renewal Discount Code

I searched but did not find a thread specific to GoDaddy...

So here goes:

This code: gdr0837wa

is for .com, .net, .org, .biz and is good to Sept. 17, 2009

I just used it and it worked on renewals as well. For those of you who don't use GoDaddy, this is NOT an affiliate code, it's just one of the many codes they email out to their customers each month.

Cost of .coms is $7.66 with fees and private registration is only $5 including renewals (and most GoDaddy codes do not apply to renewals).

I know many of you will already know about this sale, but for those who don't it's a great deal.

The reason you want a private registration is so that people can not track down your home address or business address unless you want them. It also prevents Registrars like Google form being able to automatically relate your sites together. The can do it other ways if you are not careful, but this will prevent it from occurring automatically.

Anyways just a heads up for those of you thinking of using GoDaddy.

    Actually, I have given up on godaddy codes.

    I go to google and type in "cheap domain names" for new domains;

    "cheap domain renewals" for renewals.

    1st ad is a godaddy discount, just click on it and the cheap price is reflected at checkout.

    I stopped doing privacy a year ago. too many domains, too much cost. If you want to renew one that is private w/o paying privacy, you have to login to your privacy account first and cancel privacy before godaddy will let you renew without it.
