Christmas season on it's way!

I have a domain in this niche registered in 2012 with nothing ever done on it. Just a wordpress site with a video on home page.

I am going to have a go at toys as this is what the domain is. I am looking for everyones advice on what method to go with to make some money this christmas. I want you ideas and your thought's on what you would do basically.

I have around £100 a month I can use on this project.

Thanks in advance.

First, create more pages for your site. About/contact/services/testimonials/blogs.

SEO content can help your site to rank highly in Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. So it would be a good idea to learn how to write SEO style blog posts or create articles around your toys products. Or perhaps outsource it to someone else.

Include How-To videos on your site of the toys you have in stock, or customer reviews. Perhaps even written testimonials.

Create social media pages and link them to your site. Post relevant content, and updates about blogs and services.

Create special offers/landing pages for first time visitors.

I wish you the best in your Christmas venture.

I was referring to my own previous comment, and saying that it only relates if he wants to sell toys. I'm aware of the other concepts!

I'd research which are the best-selling or most desired toys this season, and use the Amazon affiliate program, and possibly the eBay one, too, to sell these toys on the website. With good articles of high quality and excellent SEO about the toys on your site, you should get some good organic traffic and make sales.

All these tips are great, but you need to start straight away!

Especially, if you want high ranking and a natural link building profile which will take months.

Or if you going down the paid traffic route then ignore what I just said haha.

the thing is,, most of leads are not the expecting mothers but their friends who are putting on the event...

Ive segmented the moms and i do profit with that group but like i said, they are the minority in my funnel....

I think you should consider a top ten toys for kids under 10, over 10, teenagers, dad, mums, grandparents etc - you get the idea.

This would focus on what people are searching on Google and could work for you.

It's a good idea and worth the shot.

Aaron, in your shoes (or slippers; whatever you're wearing, really), I'd think out of the box, and thereby give myself a chance to break out of a considerable amount of white noise. Does the world need any of the current suggestions? If indeed it does (it doesn't), can you hope to elevate your project above the crowd? (With a running budget of £100 a month, you'll struggle, unless you have a cracking and original concept.) By all means, toss up a review site or an eCommerce dropshipping site for toys, hurl visitors in the direction of eBay and Amazon, but I'll tell you something: you'll end up having wasted your time, your effort, and your money. Think of it from the point of view of your intended audience. What can they get from you that they can't get elsewhere? What incentive exists to use a middleman, instead of merely heading straight to Amazon or eBay or any number of other online toy outlets? You need a strong concept. I'm in the middle of burning burgers at the moment in the back garden, so I'm not able to expand, but I hope the above has been of some help. Question is, can you achieve what you want on a monthly budget of £100? Of course. You can achieve it on a lot less. Before I shoot off, consider 3 things, and perhaps use them to derive your concept: 1. You're based in the UK, 2. Look at local buy and sell groups on Facebook (which are heaving on the lead-up to Christmas), 3. Stay clear of the norm and, using socials and viral marketing, push a new concept or an unfamiliar concept on a certain demographic (UK would be my choice in your shoes, slippers, or flip-flops).
