Got my first affiliate at JVZoo Excited but ...have questions

My first affiliate for my first PLR package on JVZoo!!! I am excited but with all the warnings about scam affiliates I'm a little concerned. What should I ask this affiliate before I hit the approve button? I already have delayed commissions what else?

This has really given me a morale boost. It was less than 24 hours since I posted the package that I got the request.

Hey there how are you today?

Here is one bit of advice!

While your getting affiliates and seeing what they are like don't offer instant commissions.

Delay the commission and then you will truly see who legitimate and not!

Watch your stats and if people fall over straight away then they have no marketing plan anyways and only want instant money.

People who will except a delayed payment will show you they mean business

this is right from the seller dashboard on jvzoo

Delayed - will pay commissions after you decide the affiliates is trustworthy or after the refund period.
All affiliates should be approved for "delayed commissions" until you have a working relationship with them.

You will have to take a bit of a chance as the only way to be 100% safe is not to have affiliates.

I hate to say this, but a lot depends on the country of the applicant. I factor in how many sales a person has made, how long they've been a member as well as what country they are from.

You need to approve affiliates that get results for instant payment or the vast majority of them won't promote for you. If they've made 50-100 sales and are from the US, Can, UK, NZ or Australia, I give them instant approval.

If they have 100+ sales and have had an account for a year or more, I'll approve them for instant regardless of the country.

10-25 sales and I'll put them on delayed and if they make sales with no issues after about 30+ days, I'll approve them for delayed.

If they don't meet these qualifications, it's doubtful I approve them at all. Even delayed payments have some risk.

Not only is getting paid instantly a big incentive in itself, trust works both ways. I've made a number of sales for JVZoo vendors on "delayed" and never got paid. As a vendor you also need to understand that affiliates may not trust you to get paid.

Also realize that the 80/20 principle is in effect...actually, more like the 98/2 principal in that 2% of the affiliates that apply will make 98% of your sales.

PS...also be on the lookout for applicants that are really bots. You may find you're getting multiple requests from the same country, usually in SE Asia, and the comments are the same or suspiciously similar with similar join dates.

I've seen this a number of times and believe there's some thieves that automate affiliate requests, hoping to get approved for "instant".

Jvzoo can make money out from affiliates or seller.

I encounter bad experience from it.

I hard to judge which affiliate is trusted to be frank even you have see they made 1k or more sales and been affiliate since many years back.

perhaps just my luck encounter one like this in return I go many charge back from seller in the end at lost.

I rather go for Clickbank as affiliate. At least they have support there follow and check for you any problems encounter.

Payment wise should be fine as the support will keep in check.

So what is it that makes people afraid of JVZoo Affiliates? I'm trying to understand it here. Are most of them out there false-advertising or promoting products wrongly? I don't get it.

I set my affiliates to automatic approval. I dont see reason why I need to set it to manual approval when I can wake up one morning to see that I've made some sales through an affiliate I've never spoken with. Maybe I'm not also understanding something here on JVZOO?

My product is PLR and I don't offer a refund. I've checked and many of the sellers offering PLR don't offer refunds.
