You may use Simpli Learn... But from my point of view it is better if you join an experienced Digital Marketer as Intern

Is a marketing certification really necessary? Who recognizes them or filters job candidates with them?

What really matters is what you can do as a marketer . . . other than spending $1,000 or more for a certificate.

Stay away from institutes! The minimum certifications that you'll need (on top of experience) will be:

      Google Adwords
      Google Analytics
      Bing Ads Accredited Certificate
HubSpot Certifications (Inbound, Sales, Email Marketing, Design)

Believe me when I say that most companies will not even consider you unless you have those certifications. I wouldn't bother with any other certifications at this time. The industry only recognizes the above ones.

Haha yes, it's really necessary if you want to work in a professional setting. Every company that's hiring for digital marketing will require you to have certifications before even asking for an interview. Trust me.

If you don't believe me, go ahead and look at some digital marketing job postings and look at the requirements. Also, they're free to get...so he won't have to spend money on them.

Thank you for your guidance, do you have any suggestion about social media certification?

You're welcome. There is Hootsuite, but it's not an industry recognized certificate. As a hiring manager, I wouldn't put much credit into a candidate if I saw this on their resume.

The Facebook Ad Certification is your best certification when it comes to social media. So all together, the best credentials to go for will be:
          • Google Adwords
          • Google Analytics
          • Bing Ads Accredited Certificate
          • HubSpot Certifications
          • Facebook Ad Certification
Only focus on the "accredited" certifications by established "giants": Google, Bing, Facebook, and now HubSpot. Stay away from 3rd parties, who conveniently charge premium fees for their worthless certifications. You will still need old fashioned experience, but having the above credentials will make you stand out from everyone else in both a Freelancing and Professional point of view.

A lot of universities offer courses now.

It's a smart idea if you want to climb a career ladder in marketing.. you know, working for somebody else.

Not sure why anybody would want a boss, but hey-ho, each to their own.
