Thinking about taking my content to Clickbank

Have a ton of fitness content behind a membership site paywall but hard to scale as I don't have the big ad budget behind me as we are bootstrapping here.

Thinking about taking all our content and setting up a clickbank product with OTOs, use our VSL, sales letters, emails, banners, articles, etc..

It's completely originally and unlike anything affiliates out there are promoting and from a fitness guru (not some unknown name)

Just can't for the life of me see what separates the big boys from the small fish in the market place.

Things like fatdiminisher? really? Over all the others with even better copy, videos, angles and hooks? Bigger known names behind them...??

Can't be as simple as having something original + affiliate tools + pay out 75% commission?

How are these affiliates organizing around a couple products in the first place?

No way to establish conversion rates, EPC, .. until you have a bunch of affiliates promoting your offer in the first place..

I guess I am just wondering if clickbank is even worth it unless you are hogging all the affiliates like the big boys do..LOL

or we just keep everything in our wordpress membership site and look for alternate cheaper sources of traffic..

Well if your sales/landing page & material is quality... there is no reason why you couldn't succeed as a Clickbank merchant. Fitness is a popular niche as you know & once affiliates start getting sales then your gravity makes you more noticeable in the market place which gets you more affiliates/sales. Another thing Clickbank has in place for new merchants is an affiliate finder system which you can see details at https://support.clickbank.com/entrie...filiate-Finder .

You may have to bootstrap at the beginning but once revenue starts coming in then you can have more professionally designed pages/emails/banners, etc... . Do some research for "becoming a Clickbank vendor (merchant)" out in Internet lalaland & you will find success stories & advice which will likely motivate you.

Have you gone through one of the big boys funnels yet? It's a huge eye opener once you view the back-end as a student vs being a customer. Typically these funnels break even on the front-end but kill it on the back-end.

Here is a case study breaking down the g700 flashlight funnel. http://productsquad.com/forum/produc...wn-screenshots

    That funnel runs on Clickfunnels.

You ask how the big boys compete and how they build their gravity?

The quick answer is they cross promote each others offers as upsells, downsells, etc.

They build JV relationships. It's the you scratch my back I scratch yours mentality.

Yes,, the fatdiminsher program "millions35" sucks imo.. $37 initial program, $57 "get faster results" OTO on checkout, $197 "coaching" OTO on checkout... thats it.

Average sale is $44, payout 77% ($34)... don't see how those are amazing numbers even though its one of the top fitness products right now on CB. Doesnt seem like an amazing funnel.

Even an old CB product now BeyondDiet.com costs them $40 for a $40 product and only has a $14.95 upsell monthly recurring newsletter + daily affiliate spam emails to their list.

Doesn't seem all that complicated, confusing or "genius"...

Seems they are all making money having tons of affiliates paying for the traffic making them 1,000 of sales a day @ $7 profit each.

Maybe I am far off base here but.... don't see any crazy back ends from top fitness CB offers. Seems they work off volume not CLTV
