If you can't remember it, it's certainly not a skill.

Stick with what you know. If you know Python then chances are you are good at data mining/scraping.

I would scrape useful data then sell it.

yp.com, city-data.com are great places to start.

An easy customer base is online marketers. You could build list like "Zipcodes with median income over 100k year", "Zipcodes with highest number of sex-offenders", "Households with 2 or more cars.".

There are many marketers that would buy these list.

You are only limited by your own imagination.

If you're good at coding with python use that for a niche. Build a site and information product, sell the product. Amazon sells python books everyday. My point is buyers exist, you just have to find them.

I don't know whether this is the place for this post, but it has got a response, so.

But to get more serious, Fiverr is a good place to start. Well, any online business that has its own traffic is a good place to go.

It took me 7 years to figure that one out, and 8.5 years to hopefully have the pot within reach.

I thought that too in the past. But it seems that fiver has high competition, people look at favorites or at the most used services ( their not so fair ranking ), so it will be hard to get there. It is easier if you started on Fiverrr months/years ago ;-)

Arrm, not necessarily, if some struggling graphic artist over there, notices your thanks on some related product, then they usually contact you about giving them some work.

I have offered some work on occasion, probably because they tend to do a lot for $5, and with zero orders, l wanted to give them a break.

But most GA over there will get orders, and thanks if they are willing to do almost anything in the beginning.

I have an account there, which is for PLR only, (no work, just send a digital product to them). Fiverr isn't crazy about products only, instead of time for money, but l did do graphics there for a while, and was putting in 3 to 4 hours for a measly $10.

THey also don't allow multiple accounts, so selling a ton of products there is limited.

But it has been pretty dead recently with sales, but l have bigger fish to fry.

Churning out software quickly for here and possibly Codecanyon, could be a good path to take.

There are a few things online that can make good money, font creation products for Creative Market, is one, (well, odd's on) and most likely the above options.

I am not a programmer, so are going for graphic type products, but it isn't easy to get accepted with CM, although they have a huge list, so do what they want, and good money can be made, in a short space of time.

Or hire a programmer to do the key elements of maybe 10 products you have in mind, and then do the easy stuff yourself, l have fiddled with the WP Developer App, l paid someone to do, and visual changes, were easy as was other stuff, but that was as far as l could go.

A lot of gurus do have dumb luck initially, Frank Kern used Spam, just before it was illegal, to create an 8k, list, and others created a hit product, etc.

Not really a path to follow.

For me personally after pretty much trying just about everything online, is fonts.

If the one l am doing now hits the jackpot, then l would have created my own luck through hard work, persistence and changing tracks when needed.

But l still need CM to accept my product and run it past their list, so, a little luck is still needed.

Well, I heard about CM quite a few times. They are quite awesome if you can get your products accepted by them.
And as you said with hard work a little (maybe more than a little) luck is needed,
          To get their attention.
If You're trying I'll of course say good luck. And be successful

          * You need that "first" order ( to get you started )
          * The review systems isn't fair, I read it multiple times and I personnaly had it too, if you aren't satisfied they prefer to pay you back, so you can't give negative feedback, but first they try to give you something else.. an ebook / extra graphics, but they ask 5 stars... so bad quality sellers giving bad reputation..

This forum would be so much better if people would be supportive to the newbies.

WARNING: Be especially careful with people that talk about the reality of the internet life, etc. This is THEIR reality. A fat guy will tell you he has big bones and it is genetics. It is HIS reality. The REAL reality is that he eats like a pig and he doesn't exercise. THAT'S REALITY.

I know enough successful people that make a lot of money online (myself included) to tell you guys that anything is possible in this business if you work hard and smart. If instead of working hard your only achievement is having a few thousands posts on a forum, then of course you will fail.

Ps: yes I know, I won't make friends with this post. I'm just built in a way in which I have to tell the truth.
Doesn't really matter MV, hardly anything here.

True, l agree work hard and smart,....but anything is possible?

There are times when you need to change tracks, l spent almost 3 years on one website niche, (this was after researching the crap out of it).

Got close to 100 pages, and to this day it is lucky to make $1 a month out of adsence.

I Know work on 10 sites, and go with the one that shows some potential, or work like the living dead for years on end, praying that one makes some money.

Most gurus out there became wealthy by being lucky and working hard, then try to push how others can do it, eventhough they cannot sell luck, (although they try).

The only reason l will probably hit the jackpot soon, is because l did change tracks, and worked hard, and invested when needed.

Because of time restraints and cost, not everything is possible, and most online stuff doesn't work.

    But some does!

Well, you are one of the rare exceptions, so deserve an answer,....

Google Adsence, find a niche, research it, and then spend a lot of time working hard at it, hoping that it takes off. Then add Adsence.

Adsence is good in that you get paid if someone clicks, (but don't click on your own add,s or it is by, by account).

Or work on 10, and hope that you get lucky?

Well, First I think I should say thanks for your kind reply
If it's about luck then that would be worst choice for me
And if it's about working hard. I think I am at least not that bad. If it means I can do what I want like earning online. I can work as long as needed.
That's why the first option I saw was programming. After I started learning programming I noticed that programming gonna take a lot of time, and within that time I should do some things here and there.

& there's some things caught my attention like Youtube and marketing
And any of them isn't easy. And I learned about this site from googling after a lot of time,
So, here I am to get suggestion for veterans
And as I thought it isn't that easy -_______- (can't laugh on that)

Freelancer is quite a big challenge. And not like am afraid of challenge or anything.
In order to complete profile on freelancer you need spend some amount of $$ on Paypal & if I remember correctly they were some grammar exam something like that.
And since I'll be working for someone else's need so, I have to meet their exceptions cuz I don't wanna do anything half and make a bad reputation.

Yes, there are ways to earn from marketing online, even without any investment. If you can find efficient ways to get traffic to offers, then you can make good money with CPA marketing. Here is a site which lists CPA networks that you can join:
Affiliate Marketing | Affiliate Programs | CPA Offers | OfferVault

    So your'e good at Java?

    Why not use that skill...

    Become some sort of expert

    1) Set up a website - sort of like a course style website where you post content and offer your services
    2) Set up a youtube - have some useful tutorials
    3) Set up a Fiverr account
    4) Write some books to sell on Amazon Kindle
    5) Once you gather a following - start your own workshops / online training / webinars

    I hope this helps

Yes, l have been at level 2 for a few years now, and will probably stay there.

Reviews, yes, l had a few a***h***s try to pressure me into doing something that l clearly stated l didn't do, for $5, hoping that since l had 100% rating that l would cave in.

Since l was only making pocket money from it, and didn't care too much, l usually sent them an abrupt message and let support deal with them.

    They all backed down.

Creating your own blogsite will be best since you know the basics on how to do it. Once you reach a nice traffic. You can now offer advertisement slots from your website. They can pay you a cool amount of cash. And also You can post affiliate links to your website making you more visible to online people, making it easier for you to recruit. I did it with PayCo I asked my friend to use and post my link to his website. I can't only imagine how my recruits increased from that they on.
