Which domain?

Right fellow warriors, a little bit of advice please.
Just about to put a wordpress site together to sell Amazon and Clickbank products.
The name I have selected has gone as a .com but the rest are available.
In your opinion what would the next best one be.

Also if you have amazon or clickbank in the title is that breaking any rules that I don't know about?

  • Hi Andy, I would say .com would be all you need. Most people just put .com without thinking about it. Having any other dot ending would probably be a waste of time and money.
    Also a baaaad idea to have amazon or clickbank in the title. You may have to check with those sites, but those names are probably trademarked or registered. Meaning no one else is legally allowed to use them in urls.
    But, as I said, maybe best to ask them.

    • Now the trend is going for the niche names but not those trademark names.

      If you are promoting shoes then be sure to include shoes as part of the domain name. It will help your site in a long way for search engines result.

      Most important will be building quality rich content to support your site. It will help to optimize traffic.
  • Dam! I went and purchased amazonsale.net and clickbanksale.info I seems I was a bit too quick for my own good.

    • I believe you can dump freshly registered names and get your money back if I'm not mistaken.
  • Is that right. I buy through namecheap. Never knew that but will check it out for sure.
