What else would you do with this content?

I own a dog training business.

Every day I take 5 minutes and talk about a dog training topic into my iPhone on video.

That video gets sent to a writer who turns my words into an article.

She then sends it to my web guy who takes the video and strips out the audio. The audio becomes a podcast.

He uploads the video to YouTube.

Then he takes the YouTube video, the podcast player, and the article and turns it into a blogpost on my site.

The video then gets an intro and goes onto my Facebook page.

Things that go on my FB page automatically get posted to my twitter.

My questions are:
- would you do something different than I do with that five minute piece of content

- what else would you do with this content with the idea of gaining exposure, aiding in back lining and SEO efforts, and driving traffic to my site?

Thanks.

What about distributing your content to your subscribers? Not your followers on YouTube or Twitter . . . your email list subscribers?

In addition, there are numerous places where you can distribute your content online besides YouTube and Facebook.

The question is . . . where do my prospects (potential customers) hang out and where will they see my content?

One gap that I see in your daily strategy revolves around your niche. Surely there are authority sites, dog training portals, popular blogs, forums, etc in your niche that could be displaying your content.

    Good luck,

    Steve

      Thanks for the idea.

I do like the idea of getting my content on other properties that relate to my niche.

The way I see it that would be a 'one off' type strategy, right? Personally contact the property owners and attempt to get them to share the content?

Do you see any way that such a plan could be systematized so that I can hand it off to outsourcers?

  • You can repurpose your articles by compiling them into a book. Each article could be a chapter of your book & audio book. Make sure to arrange the articles so that they flow into one another.

Upload your book to amazon.com print book via createspace.com as well as kindle publishing. Make sure to link to your opt-in page on your website from the first page in your book for your prospects to get your free gift in exchange for giving you their email address. This way you grow your list with buyers leads

Wow, nice little set up you have here....

Well have you thought about guest posting on other peoples websites?

You could write on similar websites & then obviously link to your website at the end of the article, this way your gaining some new customers whom that websites attracts and also networking with others

Where does the podcast end up? You could start a Itunes podcast, these are pretty sucessful IMO

    I hope this helps,
    Samuel

Since it's a business, try using LinkedIn as well. This could open up doors to other people in your field to take advantage of some of the other recommendations where you can start trading posts with other bloggers or short interviews with others doing podcasts and videos to get more exposure. Think about expanding to Instagram and Pinterest as well, people love cute pictures of, and tips for their dogs.

I don't know much about LinkedIn. Is there a place to post articles?

Honestly man, you should just focus on building a list and sending these videos to your list everyday to build up Goodwill and Value so you can pitch them an offer and they'll buy!

How about using your 5 minutes to host a Q&A-style video.

Ask your followers on social media, and your email list to send you questions the want answered about your niche. Or ask them for specific subtopics they need clarified.

That way you are actually interacting with your audience, and taking your relationship with your followers to the next level.

Then simply put the Q&A in video or written format on your website, and post the link to your subscribers and followers.

Two birds with one stone. Something different to do with your 5 minutes & helping to drive traffic to your site.

    Hope this helps.

    WOW, that's a great all-in-one service...

I'd like to know where you get that done truth be told...

besides that, you need to be a source for reporters and bloggers in your niche. I use sites like:
    https://www.helpareporter.com/

i've been quoted and linked to on several powerful niche related blogs because of it.

also, submit that post, video & podcast to a reputable sharing tribe like VCB:

    Hope that helps

If you have an email list turn that content into an email and send it out to your subscriber base. Actually that should be the first thing you do.
