Leaving 1ShoppingCart & Taking My Database?

Hey everyone,

Any have experience with migrating their data away from 1Shoppingcart and have any suggestions on the best way to do this?

I have an info product that was created years ago and it all has been run off of 1SC, so I have about 8 years worth of customer contact info (name address, phone, email, order history) that I don't want to lose.

I'm moving my product and funnel from a static html site over to being Wordpress based with OptimizePress + SamCart + possibly Aweber and I think that should cover all the same functionality I use now with 1SC except for where to house my historical sales data.

Best case scenario would be something that already integrates with my new stack.

    I've had to do this many times, there is a service called cart-to-cart (https://www.shopping-cart-migration.com/) which is a good bridge and not very expensive.

    I had to do a customer's site with about 300 products in it and it did a great job (it would have worked the same way with 100,000 products).

    The customer was a Magento user who never bothered to keep Magento updated, or do basic database upkeep. By the time they wanted to redesign the site they were like 5 versions behind so exporting from one version, creating a fresh install of the Cart-to-Cart exported database was the best route. They are a nationally recognized brand and I had a hard time believing how ignorant they were if we're honest, keeping up your cart version is very important as security patches are fixed along the way.

    Cart-to-Cart's service is great, you can pretty much bridge from any cart to any cart, it's a lifesaver when you need it. Make sure to create a test site, it takes 30 minutes and you can verify that everything is working good, additionally many backups along the way is wise.

      thanks for the suggestion and tip.

      I did run across cart-to-cart while doing some searching around and their service does look pretty slick.

      I think my challenge is going to be that I'm not necessarily trying to move from one cart to another cart (only have 5 products in the 1SC setup) - more focused on just moving the contacts and order history into a platform that plays nice with my new stack.

      The reason I went with 1SC way back when was because having everything all in one platform was really convenient (CRM + email broacasts + autoresponders + payment processing + product DB) but now it's a hot mess to untangle each piece and migrate each into a correct new home.

      I also buzzed a question to the support folks at samcart about bringing historical data/orders into their system and they said they don't have an option for that.
