Artisteer Wordpress vs. XSitepro

Hi, if you were building a review type site with affiliate products, would you use Wordpress (built using Artisteer or something else) or XSitepro ?

Bother have pros and cons, but since I've been using WP for a while I'm not so sure about it, due to the many constant updates needed with plugins and other things, but you can build a more versatile site with Artisteer I think.

Thanks.

I've never used Artisteer... but I've tried XSite... and absolutely hate it.

Once I sent hours writing copy... kept hitting save... and when I closed it down and re-opened it... it hadn't saved anything.

XSite Pro support told me (and I'm paraphrasing... but not by much) that there was no way that could have happened and that I was an idiot.

Needless to say... I don't use that software any more.

If you're completely technically clueless... it might work... and I hear it's got a good setup for SEO...

But I think Wordpress is just as good for SEO... far more customizable... and more stable.

Plus, the fact I can't use XSite to open an EXISTING site and work on that pretty much makes it a deal killer, considering I am often working on client's sites.

I use Artisteer all the time and I love it. I haven't actually done review sites though but I'm sure you can.

I believe they have a trial version so you can try it out and see how you go.
