Why do affiliate networks ask about quality of traffic? And references? Why would any other affiliate manager talk to him and give details? By providing my managers contact details, am I violating his privacy? Also, how to or what to answer when they ask these questions?

This means they need to send quality leads or the company will not want to work with them. So it is important to know where the traffic is coming from to make sure its a good fit with the offer. The best thing you can do is be honest with where its coming from so they can match you with the best offers!
