Be careful with the weight loss/health products when advertising on Facebook. They can be strict with that.

The first thing I noticed about your page and your blog is there really is not a lot of content.

The more unique content you post on your blog, the more organic traffic you will start to receive. You need to focus on on-page SEO, and also building some relevant links back to your blog.

Also, if you are going to advertise on Facebook, your best bet would be to build a lead capture page and build a list. Then, you can share your new blog posts with your list. You need to really read the Facebook ads TOS very closely, because I know there are a lot of weight loss and health supplements that they don't allow.

I see that you have opt-in forms on your blog, which is good, but if you don't have any traffic coming in then they won't do a lot of good.

I would try and post a really good piece of content at least 3-4 times a week if you can.

Then, share the blog posts on your Facebook page. Also, you need to add lots of good content to your Facebook page. It doesn't have to be created by you. You can post YouTube videos, Slideshare reports, Infographics, Dailymotion & Vimeo videos, etc.

I have to admit, I tried a lot of different niches and never did much with any of them, until I got into the MMO niche. That's where I struck gold.

However, that's just the niche that I was able to succeed with. There are literally hundreds of niches and thousands of sub-niches that you can get into and profit from.

It is not always as easy as it sounds to get this right.

  • There are a lot of things that you can do to increase your website traffic. The first thing that you need to check is your onsite optimization. Try to re-analyze your website and its pages and see if all the pages are properly optimized, including your content, which should also be optimized.

Another thing to check is your keywords selection. You should always use the right keywords in targeting the right market.

Then of course, check your content. Always make sure that you are publishing quality and useful content. I also suggest you include content marketing in your marketing campaign and always remember that quality exceeds quantity.

    Jerry,

    Buddy: don't buy FB ads.

    A few reasons:
    • You're on blogspot.
    • You have no fresh marketing angle/ brand/ USP.
    • You have insufficient website content.
    • You have insufficient FB page content.
    • Your web design doesn't work.
    • Your opt-in form is below the fold.
    • Your opt-in form is poorly designed.
If anyone tells you different to the above, ignore them; unless you like wasting money. If you absolutely must spend money today, give it to a charity; it'll do more good, for you and for others.

Health and fitness is not a recommended area for newbies - at all - since competition and saturation means that you really must be operating at a relatively high level.

The good news is - you write well, you work hard, you take action. For whatever reason, you've simply taken the wrong route, and if you're new to IM then it's understandable.

The above may seem harsh (will seem harsh) but it's designed as a fairly easy going wake-up call.

You should keep adding quality and unique contents to the site to build your authority in the niche. While adding more content, make sure to properly follow some on-site SEO techniques. Even if you won't completely rely on SEO for traffic, it's always nice to get a bunch of visitors from long-tail keywords.

Find where your targetting audience are hanging out and try to advertise there. Surely, not all of them are on FB. Maybe you can find some forum where you can advertise. Keep working hard
