Why Does Warrior Forum Have Both WWW and no-WWW?

Okay it is Sunday morning and I'm feeling very bored.

I just came to know that both no-WWW of warrior forum (warriorforum.com) and WWW of warrior forum (www.warriorforum.com) exist. I entered warriorforum.com and it doesn't redirect to www.warriorforum.com.

Correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't Google see these two as two different domains? Will it not affect the ranking (I agree this forum has been there for ages and has authority)? But still....

    http://www.warriorforum.com

    You can type the www in front or without and it is the same domain and website.

    Yes but I read in a blog a year or so ago that Google views them as two different domains.
