This might be a long one, please bare with me here and I will make it as short as I can..

My name is Ahmed, 21 years old, I used to work for a company here in Egypt as a copywriter by mere luck. It has a long story to it when it comes to "How a college boy earned such position in a company without a college degree" In Egypt that counts as something "Out of the box", but yeah I was the golden goose for that company.

We can say I was lucky enough that my boss at that time have seen my writing skills through my lack of a bachelor so I was hired as a trainee at first and things escalated from there, Eventually the company received a shut down order 5 weeks and my status got updated to "Unemployed" and for other "Private" reasons .. I'm broke (For now)

Since I was 15 I've been studying the art of a winning conversation, I came to study how to convince a human being with anything, Since I was 15 till now I came to find that the art of talking to someone's subconscious to simply convince the mind with anything you want is truly mesmerizing, to me at least. So I immediately fell in love with Copywriting
and reached the point where I can say Its less of a science and more of an art when it comes to how ASK a broke man to sell his shopping cart!

The whole point is, Now that I'm broke (For now.. Again) I still don't have the mindset of a quitter, In other words, I'm all in with all I've got to build myself back up again.

I've had an eye on the Warrior Forum for like 2 weeks, and I thank whatever the coincidence and God for leading me here and see that ENORMOUS amount of marketers talking about and sharing their experiences for the sake of it, and I really want to be something here, So my idea is offering my services for free here to build a reputation then I can pick it up from there for my own benefit and I do believe in making relationships and connections with fellow marketers.

So please, Share your thoughts and ideas about how can I start here and If you can help me, I humbly stand in front of you with my hands open.

Thank you.

    Welcome.

Your introduction is a good start.

You should join in the conversations in the copywriiting section and choose what conversations (both here and there) to enter and participate in, wisely.

Having a positive mindset and confidence in your ability will go a long way to improving your position.

Use those skills you have developed and work with people who respect those skills.

Best of luck on your journey.

    Kind regards,

    Ozi

Thank you so much for the support and the good vibes, I've already started acting upon your words before you even comment I guess, so I guess that means I'm on the right track!

    Ahmed,

Great copywriting, IMO, is both a skill and an art. There will be plenty of work available online for you if you prove your worth. Having read through your post with a critical eye for grammar, punctuation, coherence, sentence structure and other writing elements (all skills a copywriter should master), I would suggest you either get a good proofreader or study English grammar further.

In addition to learning copywriting, you would be served well to learn how to do professional research, how to tell a great story, how to use power words and motivators, how to write compelling ad copy, and how to position your brand and style. All will be important as you try to generate copywriting gigs online.

The best to you in your new career,

    Steve

Thank you so much for your advice, I've already acted upon most of what you've said already.
