Hi guys

I would like to hear what you guys think. I'm a young professional graphic designer, I specialize in custom web graphics. But I'm finding it a bit difficult to find new clients. I've just recently updated my website and added new services and features, but still haven't had a lot of new clients.

What you do think I should do?

See ya

    Hi Bronsond,

I don't really have any advice for you other than telling you how i obtained clients back when i was developing individual websites.

The first thing is go sign up a few accounts at freelance sites like scriptlance, getacoder, rentacoder, etc. You'll have to settle for very competitive pricing at first. Just make sure you do a good, fast, and professional job every time (this goes without saying) even if you get ripped off, which you occasionally will.

However, you will find those great clients that will pay you a reasonable rate, communicate, and basically treat you right. It's these folks that you want to establish and maintain an ongoing relationship with. They will give you repeat work, you will get paid a fair rate, and everyone will be happy.

Once you've established a few of these relationships you'll be in no shortage of work and have a nice portfolio to boot!

Anyway, i hope that this post helps and wish you the best of luck!

      Hi Bronson,

You don't have enough posts yet, but when you have made 30 valuable posts (things that contribute to the conversation, ask good questions, etc - no short one liner posts like "I agree") then you can offer your services in the Warrior Special Offers Forum.

You can offer logo design, headers and/or footers, ebook covers - pretty much whatever warriors use day in and day out. The catch is the price must be lower than the general public would have to pay - hence the "special offer".

You can also post in the Warrior Forum Classified Ads.

Between the Special Offer Forum and the Classified Ads forum you should have a nice work load.

Until you reach your 30 posts or more I would make a post offering a free logo, ebook cover, etc to 3-5 people in exchange for their testimonial (if they liked the work) This will come in real handy when you run your WSO.

      Good luck!

By the way, the previous post is an example of what is generally considered a valuable post. Work toward that 30 with posts like that one and generally try to be productive and helpful in topics where you can contribute.

        Good luck!

          Hi Netpiddler

I've just recently upgraded to a War Room Member, so that I can post in the WSO, I paid the subscription fee. Do I still need 30 posts before I can post in the WSO?

          Thanks,

          Bronson

            Hi scriptnique

Thanks for the ideas. I did join a couple of freelance websites in the past, but they did not seem to work for me. I'll take a look at the one's you suggested.

            See ya

Great advice that I suggest you follow to the 'T'.

The other area you can post is in the Warriors For Hire where other graphic designers post.

There's been plenty of freelancers, including graphic designers, that have launched a business through the Warrior Forum.

        Good luck,

        Mike

      Hi JustinHart

Currently I just offer my services online through my website and not offline. Could you please explain what you mean?

      See ya
