I think one of the hard things is getting into the habit of writing a LOT... if you don't like writing, then it could take some time to adjust

I made the mistake of starting with free blogging services like blogspot. It's much better to invest a little in your own site and domain.

Maybe sometimes difficult to find the right theme that will be interesting for others and not only for you or few people. But when you already have some followers the themes appear in the process.

I first started making money online through blogging. I slowed down after about two months. At the time, I had about 30 posts, of which, maybe 4 were ranked. All my traffic came through Facebook and other social media.

I ended up giving up after about 4 months of no sales. Then one day, about a month after I quit, I logged into my clickbank account and saw that I made two sales.

This got me so jacked! I was excited. I went back to writing 2 to 3 articles a week. This site became decent income.

Out of that entire first year when I started a few years back, I'd have to say that the hardest parts were listed as below;

1. Staying motivated - it's hard when you don't see results soon. The longer you go without results, the harder it is to stick with it... Until you get that first sale, then it completely flips, and you'll get motivation right back. Just get to that first sale!

2. Knowing what to even write about! - There comes a point when you think there's nothing left to write about! Bull****... Just Google your niche, or trending news in your niche. You'll find more information than you could write about in a year writing an article a day. Not all of your articles should be trying to sell! In fact, most of your articles should be free, helpful information. Your recommendations will be listened to when people see you truly are giving effort to help them.

3. Finding traffic - At first, obviously SEO isn't great. So using social media and PPC works well, but it's a bit of a learning curve. Once you understand it, however, traffic is one of the simplest things to do.

4. Marketing - How to write in a way that not only inspires people to take action in your niche, but also to understand that buying from you is a good investment for them, as well as show them that buying through your business helps you to take more time to offer them more quality content. Marketing is a strange beast in itself, and will always fluctuate. Learn the basics, and experiment. You'll find something that works.

5. Sticking with your purpose! - Once you start making money, it's hard to continue putting in work. You want to just quit your job, and turn your life into a vacation... But what happens if you lose your affiliate program? What if your site gets hacked when you're not paying attention? I learned that you need to always take care of and nurture your business. Real people pay you and follow you because you are helping them. If they pay you, and you disappear, it'll destroy you eventually.

Time and patience BUT problem you will always ask yourself why still don't have much sales or just one or two despite blog for nearly one year.

Whereas you see other bloggers claim within 3 months they managed to earn from Adsense , amazon , click bank affiliates etc.

for us don't mind to wait will try on free traffic , share on social medias , etc

I feel need at least two years to see the final result??
if you just depend on free traffic. Next SEO also take time.

I think the hardest part is continuing to put in the effort when you're not seeing any immediate payoff. Especially when the people around you are expecting you to make money immediately. For me personally, this was the greatest challenge.

Staying consistent in putting out great content is essential. And then realizing that creating great content is only part of the game. Promoting that content is just as important. After all, what's the use of creating all that great content if no one reads it?

In the beginning I would put my heart and soul into writing a great blog post and then wonder why no one ever read it. It was only later that I realized that I had to put an equal amount of effort into promoting the content as I did in creating it.

I think you can either blog about what you love and expect very little in return or you have to figure out how to make a stake in a profitable niche. If your interests happen to be in a profitable niche then you may have the perfect recipe for a (monetarily) successful blog.

If you feel like you have to force yourself to write you better make sure you're writing about something people are interested in and something that can actually make you some money in the long run, otherwise you're just torturing yourself for no reason.

in the beginning my problem was writing consistently and getting traffic.

as soon as i solved one the other got solved soon after..

to write consistently just create an easy schedule for yourself.

for me, that's one seo prepped 1000 word post a week. and one video.

little by little the traffic started to trickle in..

My biggest problem for about 5 years of my blogging career - first 5 - was I didn't blog a niche I loved.

I was in it mainly for the money. Even though I had a freeing driver too, I simply did not blog my passion.

This mistake led to struggles, then, muted success.

Things only took off after I created a blog I felt passionate about, because at that point the fun of blogging was my reward. All else - money, traffic, etc - was extra.

Taking this attitude helped me focus my energies on creating and connecting which dissolved many of my blogging problems.

Some of the problems I had when it comes to blogging is staying motivated, or wondering if my efforts will all pay off. I mean, it is an uncertain market; but, the best way to turn uncertain into something certain is to reach readers/prospective clients in the best way you can. In this way, you can turn words into sales.

Believe me; it's not going to be easy, but once you see the results sooner or later, it's all worth it.

The problem with blogging is that you might get writer's block. You run out of things to write about. There will be days when you don't feel like blogging. There are days when you are not sure if people are reading your posts or not.
