What is Your Frustration with Internet marketing?

Personally when i decided to venture into internet marketing, my biggest mistake was that i thought i could use the internet to make money over night...boy was i wrong. It took me nearly over 3 years before i earned my first $ online. I wanted to do some affiliate marketing but my biggest challenge was that because of my geographical location i could not promote most products because my country was not listed as being able to use paypal or clickbank or purchase any training or course that required paypal and i realised most products in IM use paypal a lot...very frustrating!

I am still struggling though with finding affiliate networks to promote but i have managed to get around it by promoting PLR products and this is working very well for me.

What was your biggest mistake or what is your frustration?

My biggest mistake was not understanding the value of list building.

I collected email addresses because 'everybody else was doing it'..

.. and when I moved to Aweber I didn't bother to import over 1,000 buyers, or the other thousands of people on my other list.

You can't imagine somebody making that mistake today can you?

There are a lot more alternatives today than there were years ago for taking payments online. Hopefully, something like that doesn't stop the truly serious business owner from finding a way, from moving forward, regardless of what the challenge may be.

Your location may be a challenge. Your skills at writing may be a challenge. Your initial capital for funding a new business may be a challenge.

Entrepreneurs . . . true entrepreneurs . . . meet every challenge that becomes an obstacle and they figure out a way around or through that roadblock. They don't let it doom their business.

There are always going to be frustrations, mistakes, oversights, surprises, and things come up to block or slow your progress - it's the nature of being in business for yourself. It will happen no matter who your are.

The important thing, in my mind, is to get beyond whatever it is that is impeding your progress. For some, it might mean getting a mentor. For others, it will mean getting more education and knowledge through research and study. For others, maybe purchasing and implements advice from a product or service.

We all find our own path to success and yours will be different than mine.

In every sense of the word, YOU are the business.

The Frustration with internet marketing is: many times the traffic is good, but sales is not good. During that time the frustration increased too much. Thanks

I think that the most frustrating thing is the waiting game. You can throw a lot of effort into something and sometimes you won't know for months whether or not it will pan out. I've seen this referred to as "the big suck" and I definitely agree with that name.

My biggest mistake was being hyped with these courses that teach you how you can earn $4,678.00 per day in autopilot, easily, even as a newbie, without experience. LOL. Of course, at first I was a total newbie and I thought I can really make that money easily and just became frustrated upon buying the course that's it's totally bullsh*t and can't even live up with the promises they put on their sales pages. And these kind of products still exist today, and many people still fall on the same trap!

LESSON: Here's the truth. There's no such thing as easy money. You have to hustle. You have to work a ton. And the moment will come you'll reap its benefits

my biggest mistake was not following up with my leads enough after they opted in..

the list became stagnant after the initial 17 day series finished.

now my list gets a least 3 or 4 emails from me a week.
