Make the same post multiple times in every section of a forum. When people see you've posted the same thing everywhere, it really makes them want to read your posts.

One of my favorite ways is focus less on using the free method to drive traffic.

rehash and outrage is the preferred strategy of one little marketer i know..

These are the three methods that I adopt for forum to drive traffics.

You can drive all the traffic in the world but at the end of the day, what matters is, does it CONVERT? My go to is to have a fake countdown timer on my page to make you think the price is going to skyrocket 1300% but really it just keeps resetting every day and the price never changes. If I'm really in a bind to steal your money, oops I mean sell you something, I like to use a pop up that says your site has been infected, your computer will be erased, and you have to pay me to un-infect it. CONVERTS like a charm.

(End sarcasm).

Yeah, it's pretty amazing the garbage you sometimes see on this forum.

What's even more amazing are the things that the mods choose to leave on here, and the things they choose to delete. If you say something critical of one of their "darlings" your post gets deleted.

No wonder this place is going way down in popularity and traffic.

Nah, you got numbers 2 through 4. Number 1 is this one: you copy the content of one of the posts in the middle of the thread and post it as your own. Just make sure to add ellipsis dots at the end, so people know you got more, you just didn't want to overwhelm people.

there are a lot haters here, and you can actually identify them easily, they never
respond even once to ANYTHING you say, they always go irrelevant instantly
and say things like: "i do not like your haircut" - "Your other this or that is total shit"
- "Your shoes obviously would not work in a city like NYC"

Haters have no life. But they pretend to be marketing experts. In reality they never sold
even a single product, otherwise they would have something to say, anything really,
that would make me pay attention to those miserable loosers.

Create a post that says "private message me in a post". Don't show the newbie anymore in the post keeping them guessing till they send a pm. Or you can just post "I will help you check out my signature."

Write a 1 to 3 word post in a reply to the OP. Then have the most obnoxious signatures that rules allow. Why waste time writing more. Here is one example - "Thanks great post." That is a sure fire way to draw traffic to your landing page.

Open a 3-5 year post with a line sentence so people will want to click on your link offering any old service, besides what the OP posted a long time ago. Or open a several year old post asking what host do you use. Respond and say xyz host, the same one as in your signature. While the OP has not logged onto the forum in several years. By now he may just show up and change hosts. Instant traffic every time because in a few hours several more posts will show up below it.

You can use forums to make signatures , always be brief and always be positive . No matter what people write, I’m always positive. I do my best to answer any question. Make sure to use dofollow forums.

No matter the niche, there are enough forums where people gather and discuss their business or hobbies. Those people are a targeted audience that can be converted into loyal readers and clients one way or another

Make sure you quote the longest post in the thread once it gets to Page 2.

Everyone skips to the last page first and then credit you with all the wisdom and authority of the original poster!

Oh, and add a really outrageous comment too, which needn't have anything to do with the thread, like...

This post woke me up a bit. So to drive traffic to your site post something like this-- content with an unexpected twists that makes others smile, or validate our opinions.

Here's from me:
1. Make sure that you put your website in your signature, demand it even!
2. Go over board on posting in the forum for an hour, and comment on the same threads.

Why not continually like and unlike the topics? Thank all the people, even if the messages don't make sense, and be ridiculously annoying.

I do like to build something most people need. no body follows you unless you have something in return. you need to provide the community with something that help them and their businesses.
