And returning to the land of Pokemon niche marketing.....

It's just NOT going away.

This is what Pokemon trainers and great entrepreneurs have in common:

Learn On the Go

Millennials are fast becoming the generation of entrepreneurs -- the go-getters. The 2016 BNP Paribas Global Entrepreneur Report found that millennials, between 20 and 35 years old, are starting more companies, managing bigger staffs, and targeting higher profits than their baby boomer predecessors....

Know Their Resources

Trainers need to seek out Pokeballs to continue to grow their Pokedex and stay competitive in the game. A strong Pokemon trainer is innovative and knows where to find Pokeballs. As they get better, their balls upgrade with their skills. They also learn what types of Pokemon live in what favored habitats, knowing where to look to fill their needs....

and several more ideas.

Not only that, but Pokemon has yet to "die" as wildly reported....

... it's wise to take the above into account.

Enjoy!

I am so far out of the loop when it comes to games like Pokemon, I would not be able to say the above paragraph out loud with a straight face.

In this area, it does seem to be dead....or at least fading very quickly. I wonder in 30 years will there still be Pokemon devotees as there are Trekkies?

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Just from talking to Youth around town ( including the Youth at Church) it hit its peak about month or two ago.

There is no question it's losing its steam.

Welcome to 15 minutes of fame lol

True, but augmented reality has yet to show its true form

wait until Google's Magic Leap and Microsoft's Holo Lens makes there way into our homes:

      Pokemon Go? No.
Pokemon in general? Yes, I believe so.

I believe Pokemon is loosing it is spark, they had plenty of feature that was very attractive, but as they hit high demand they disabled some of them causing a major anger between their audience.

The game has been loosing it is niche, I believe the company aim to release some new update to the game somewhere next month, assuming that the game will last that long lol.

It is pretty shame how strong they started, and how fast they are fading. Keeping their existing users is much more important than grab new ones.

I agree, what they should have done was implemented more features such as trading, battles, more interesting items in the store, hell even some sort of 'spin to win' mini-game for a chance to win a pokemon outside of your area. It's lost is spark so quickly because there is only so much joy you can get out of such a repetitive game.

No wonder I can't target higher profits in my business - there is no upgrade for senior citizens.
