JV Partners - the inside scoop on finding them

Yo Warriors!

Let's say you have just developed a new killer product. Let's also say that you have built a nice little list in the product's niche.

You have set up your campaign, you have your emails ready to go, you have your affiliate tracking in place. You even have your JV instructional emails ready to go. In other words - you are ready to rock and roll.

Questions...

Where do you go and what do you do to find a few JV partners for your initial product launch?

How do you ask people to participate?

How do you limit your JV partners to only those that have a list? How do you find out the size of their list?

PM me if you know or post here - I NEED to know the answers!
Thanks so much for your help.

Ive always been under the impression that you need to get on someones radar.

So..find somebody in your niche who has a list, and is respected.

You could start promoting their products as an affiliate, as you start to make sales they will take notice. Your putting food on their table..and I'm sure they will gladly talk to you about your offer!

Blog about them! Some people have and RSS set up for their name - so if anybody writes about them, they know! Maybe try writing about them - this will make them take notice. You can also be active on their blog. Leave helpful comments which add value to his site.

If you don't like the sound of any of these....then maybe look for a JV broker to help you!

When you do this you should already have a website with a
squeeze page that is proven to convert and that looks professional.

So, who qualifies as a good JV on the warrior forum:

    Step 1:

locate members on this forum and locate the signature file under
their posts. Follow this. Does the page relate to your topic dose
    it look professional?

Is it consistently getting getting quality traffic? ( You can do
this by checking the URL with
    Alexa.com)

Are they established members in the form? (200+ posts in the
    forum)

Identify around 100+ people or as many as you can, and add them to
    a list list.

    Step 2:

Now it is time to send them a Private Message
customize the following to your niche.

    Subject:vHi NAME... Profitable JV Venture?

Hey NAME, I'm searching for other site owners who would enjoy
    participating in a JV project.

Have a list of over XXXX in the XXX market, they love (Your Niche)
info... thinking that you would be a good match for my list.

    What do you think?

Have some open slots and wanted to see if you were interested.

Fill free to send me a fast PM or email if you're interested.

    YOUR NAME

    YOUR EMAIL

    YOUR URL

    Step 3:

Now just sit back and relax and wait for them to respond. A
lot of warriors don't check their forum PM's. If you have not heard
back by around 5 days you can send the same message to their
    address email...

    Step 4:

When you hear back asked yourself if they respond with
intelligent questions? Did they answer yours? Are they asking for
more information if so you have a good JV partner.

Ps. this is just what i think hope it helps

    Hi Clint

I get quite a few messagesasking me to promote offers. If someone PM's me directly, I usually ignore it.

I think that opening a dialogue with someone, asking them to promote your offer will bring poor quality JV partners, or none at all.

JV partners should be people you have built a relationship with.

I have built numerous relationships over the past few months, and I know that when I release a product - I have people who will help me promote, as they know I will promote for them! (as long as we have lists in that niche).

I will also make sure that my partners get a higher commission than affiliates.

Offer to do something for them first, maybe to create a weeks worth of content for their site, or do some link building etc. Then talk about doing a JV later. Make them an offer they can't resist, do articles for them etc etc etc
