My first reaction when coming across

8 Non-Sleazy Strategies for Upselling Your Clients

was to think:

Upselling ISNT sleezy to begin with....

... so why imbue it with that characteristic?

Be that as it may, I really liked:

4) Start providing value as soon as possible with quick wins.

5) Pitch ideas -- not just upgrades.

Because ideas are things clients and customers (with imagination) can run with.

Always pile on the value....

... and let your customer vote with their pocketbook.
