EZA Taking Forever to Approve Articles..What's the Best Alternative?

EZA is taking forever to approve articles for me. I emailed them and they said that they've been experiencing an "unexpectedly" large amount of article submissions.

I obviously can't wait 15 days (yes, its been that long) to start promoting my websites, so I need an alternative.

Don't say GoArticles because none of my articles there ever get indexed.

Is Article Base good enough? Also, do your articles actually get indexed there?

I'd go with Big Mike's article bot, submits to hundreds of directories including the big ones you've mentioned, goarticles, eza, article city).

If you email him first he usually does a special offer for warriors too, well worth a look.

Tell me about it, i just started a new niche and put up an autoresponder for it. It has been two weeks and no article approval from EZA. My subscription for the autoresponder is running and i am not getting my moneys worth.

Once you get your articles approved and your list growing you'll soon forget about how long it took if you've done everything correctly.

What I do is just keep writing more articles and eventually they will be approved one by one. If your going to have an autoresponder eventually then set up a website with an index.php redirect to an affiliate link for now until the article is live and when your article is live then change the redirect to your new autoresponder squeeze page. You won't catch any subscribers but - oh well.

Here is something interesting I got from Ezine articles website. There are slightly over 199,200 authors with articles there. Do you know how many authors there are that have more than 100 articles? Approx. 2950. If you write and submit a hundred or more articles then I would consider you serious about article writing. I would consider those good odds if you write good content - I don't believe some of the stuff that gets by even now. It seems to me that most people only write 1 or 2 articles and give up article marketing for good when they don't see results.

I just think that you have to be patient. Just think....pretty soon you'll have hundreds of little salesmen (resource boxes) helping you get people to your web site by clicking on your links. The more little salesmen you got the more traffic you get.

Those with the most articles wins!

I don't know. I was just making a point about how only the top 1.5% of authors have more than 100 articles. With the flood of articles bombarding EZA's lately I'm thinking it won't last. Probably until the recession is over and when every body gets back to work at their JOB's and when their stab at internet marketing doesn't pay off. They'll quit.

They've been taking ages for me too. I think that they're wanting people to upgrade to the paid only version?

One of my articles from the 16th of August is still pending (whilst some that I submitted on the 25th of August have been approved..)

    Very odd.

I just got Big Mike's TrafficMania. I am impressed. I still manually submit to several major ones. It took me about 3 times running it to get sorted out which directories in the list were keepers. Now it runs very smoothly.

I have a list of the ones I submit to manually - I keep the IDs, passwords and other details on an index card.

    I love index cards!

Blog talkradio instead. Indexed in a few hours. And than use article marketer for a bunch of article directories if desired.

Hey, Alex Williams: can you just submit an article as a press release? Or does that need to be rewritten in some way before submitting as a press release?

Can you tell us more on how you use blogtalkradio for indexing sites rather than article marketing?
I am not sure how he uses it, but blog talk radio allows you to have a blog hosted on their site. They have several categories so you can choose which ever you need. All you have to do is build a blog in the proper area on the site and then link back to your original article or site from there. They are pretty cool about it as well.

I miss the good old days. I once had EZA approve an article in nine minutes. I don't even bother anymore because I hate writing articles. It doesn't take long; I just hate doing it.

There are other ways to get links and traffic.

Mine usually get approved within 1-2 days. I wonder if there are different editors for different topics and perhaps more popular topics take longer.

I also use Allen Graves' http://www.website-articles.net He usually approves within 24 hours and I get good search engine results.

I thought it was only me that has been experiencing the same thing. However, I will rather wait for EZA as they are the best for me.

That does not however mean you should not use other sites. Choice is yours. In fact distributed the articles to so many directories is the best but I prefer waiting for EZA so I don't fall into the duplicate content nonsense.

Hi Sashas, I write articles now and then and l subscribed to Ezine Articles they are very professional and do not take for ever to approve your articles usually between 2 - 5 days depending on your ranking they are even faster than that. And they do index your articles. I recommend highly. If you are having trouble then l am not sure what more you can do except email them like you have and it could be that that are being saturated like Imran said. l have received good traffic from them because of my articles. Good Luck

Here's a screenshot of my control panel:

The last article was submitted on the 25th of August. That's almost 15 days.

I already have around 40 articles on EZA, so I'm not a new member either.

Right now, I'm very tempted to get a premium membership because I know that EZA can do wonders to your ranking if used right..

Here is the reality folks cause it's time to wake up and smell the hummus.

EZA is getting pounded with submissions and as a result, for most people
(me included) article approval times are now insane.

But...and this is the cold hard reality...they have no reason to care.

      They have a paid membership.

      Want your articles approved faster?

      Pay it.

Think they're not now getting tons of people upgrading because of
      the massive delays?

That's what they want...more money so that they can pay their ever
rising cost of keeping the site going.

They get NOTHING from us folks who submit our articles for free?

      Adsense?

Please...they have enough articles out there already to make a decent
Adsense income and our few articles we write won't add to that bottom
      line all that significantly.

But imagine if EVERY author upgraded to paid status.

Get out a calculator folks and do the math.

This is what it is and with the increasing number of authors, it's not
going to get better anytime soon.

      Welcome to the real world.

Stick to EZA. It is pretty hard to get to that "Premium Account" but afterwards your articles will get indexed in 2-3 days.

There is a reason why EZA articles get good rankings and why google loves them. They want long term relationships with their Authors and quality content.

Are you saying it's taking 9-11 days as a Platinum author?

I recall it being like that when you first get your account but once that upgrade you it usually only takes a day or two.

I haven't submitted any articles there for a while but I did two days ago and they are still waiting to be reviewed which is longer than I had to wait previously.

I have a few that I submitted on Friday as well. This morning (Wed.) they have 3 yellow blocks on the progress meter thing that they have. I fully expect them to be approved today. If they're not, it will be the longest I've waited in a while but even if they're approved tomorrow it's still just 3 1/2 days. That's not too bad.

I don't think you need to upgrade. I have well over 100 there and I've noticed the longer the article text, the longer it takes to get approved. My 4-500 worded ones got approved immediately, but 1000 or more words take a couple of days.
