Running your own digital marketing company

Hay guys

Recently I broke away from working in agencies and decided to do my own thing. I run my own digital search marketing company targeted to generating revenue and to minimize all the technical BS that comes with SEO and Online marketing and simply show clients the bottom line results.

I wanted to know who else out there is doing the same and running your own business or consultancy? Id be keen to hear how you handle various challenges, especially if you are the one handling your clients, admin and implementing all of the SEO work etc.

Thanks!

I've been doing SEO and marketing consulting for local businesses and online business owners for a few years now. I do most of the work myself, especially the consulting, which involves direct communication with me. With SEO work, and improving the rankings of my clients' websites, I also do most of the work myself. People like a personal touch.

However, I do have a team of people I trust to outsource certain things to, such as content creation (which is the largest part of my SEO work for my clients) if I find I have too many clients at a time to do all the work myself and still have it be of the quality they and I expect. It's taken me a while to find outsourcers I can trust to do an excellent job with the tasks I give them. I test anyone I'm considering as an outsourcer on my own sites first, before I let them work on a client's account. It's my reputation that's on the line, after all.

But, I'd say 90 to 95 percent of the work I do is done by me personally.

I run my own Kindle book-based marketing agency

    I love the freedom

I also love scalable it is-I start with writing services then move into marketing then author branding.

Having your own agency is awesome.

I used to do this business as an agency before. However if you want to run your own agency business, you need to do almost the work by yourself such as SEO, run Ads Campaign: Adwords, GDN, FB Ads,...and some your local ads network...Beside of that you need 1 designer and 1 content creator to manage Facebook fanpages and posts on other channels Youtube, G+, Twitter,...
In cases you have a lot of customers and campaigns you need to hire more SEO guys and Developer is the campaigns relate to website design,...

    Hope this helps.
