Thanks very much. Though the answer isn't still clear. If I am entering into a niche in jewellery. Am I to focus only on my contents or are there some other tweaks beside adding plugins, yoast seo and basic WordPress settings

Learn to find traffic that wants to buy is more important than plugins. You also want to learn how to use content to convert into sales. If you are looking for a theme go to Word Press.org and look at the free themes they offer there. Keep it simple in the beginning you will be overwhelmed if you try to get fancy with your website.

Since you're really into jewelry, you probably now better about the needs that are unmet in this niche than us.

Ask yourself the question; What additional value can I deliver in this niche that the people are looking for.

That's the most important thing, no matter which niche you're in. You have to full fill a need that is not met. If you can do this, you got the power in your hands.

The only way I would see you making money in that is by having some type of Shopify store and running Facebook ads to it.

Speaking about content of your new blog, try to find what are the most popular questions people are interested at. You can use question-and-answer websites (www.quora.com for example). I think that people will always interested at such questions - how to choose, the price comparing, what celebrities prefer, etc.

Yes, it's profitable. Amazon is a great way to make money in this niche but there are other programs as well. Reselling and dropshipping can work as well.

It's pretty simple: Keyword Research -> Sub-niche selection -> Reviews and lots of pictures -> Link building -> Rinse and repeat.

It's what your good at and what motivates and drives you. Thing with a blog its more like a branding tool and you don't really want to sell for like the first year... Just build your following. I mean maybe have an opt in form and sell through the backend through your list...

Jewelry is a good choice. First, you'll need to believe and strong in your chosen niche. After then collect all the marketing strategy and then proceed it. My suggestion for blog theme go to ThemeForest and buy your favorite theme to start your blog. Good luck!

There are so many factors in this, not the least of which is the product you'll be promoting. I'd hook up with a dropshipper or two, or a jewelry dealer who offers high commissions and see what kind of traffic you get on sites like Ebay, Etsy and Amazon marketplace.

I'm suggesting this because it's easy to get enthusiastic and dive in without a net. With some testing forays before you invest a lot of money, you'll at least have some idea of what works and what doesn't.

    Good luck!

If you have design talent or can partner with people who do, the above might warrant investigation. I used to make and sell bone chokers and beaded earrings at flea markets and biker parties. I'm thinking about reviving the hobby to see if I can make some online sales.

  • I have once read here in warrior that it is better to at least be part of a huge market's competition, than be on your own with no audience, (or something like it). I believe that is correct, even if you share the market with bigger competitors, you still have a shot at getting something and be connected to your target audience other than being absolutely unknown in a niche no one is talking about or searching for.

I think jewelries could be a great niche to work on, you just need to choose your market wisely or rather develop them accordingly. Women like jewelries and you can start from there, make it fashionable, trendy and stylish that they could not resist partnering one with their outfit.

There are definitely smaller niches within the broader jewelry niche that get a ton of searches and have fairly low organic competition. We own four niche websites within the broader jewelry niche that do very good. Sorry, I can't tell you what they are.

  • It is good to first assess your target audience, what are they like? Are you going to go for office workers who need to look formal in the corporate world or do you go for the events type? Or both? Whatever the case, developing your buyer persona is important.

Are you planning to sell jewelries? If so, I think it would be better if you focus on how to sell them and then augment your campaign by introducing high quality articles surrounding your niche.
