Do you use EZA articles, written by others, on your own sites?

It is very popular to submit your own articles to EZA, but how many of you are using other peoples, EZA articles on your own sites? Do many webmasters publish EZA articles on their sites?

    I don't, but from my tests I have seen EZA articles that I
    submitted that were used by others ranking well in the
    search engines. So - I guess, there are still people who do
    this and are getting results from it.

    Come to think of it - one will get results, especially with
    a little backlinking added to it    , because lots of people
    now submit ONLY to EZA and not even to their sites!!!
    Strange, but that's true. So - using EZA articles isn't
    such a bad idea.

    I don't use any ezine articles on my sites. Iv also heard of people making good use of them but I like to have unique content on my sites because I recon it will eventually get dropped in favor of the one on ezine.

    I know that a lot of marketers are still using this technique.
    But, in order to use the articles legally you have to included the full resource box, and keep all of the links.

    I occassionally use EZA articles on some of my niche blogs. I don't for my IM blog because I want that to be all me.

      I have a private member site in which I include high-quality articles found in various article directories, as well as my own content. I know for a fact that some of those authors have gotten business from my members as a result of that. My members appreciate me culling through what's out there and bringing them the best stuff.

      What's interesting is that the pool of top-quality article authors is actually rather small. The same names come to my attention again and again, and I'm sure article marketing works extremely well for those experts.

    Although I occasionally use guest articles (original, exclusive content) on some of my sites, I only use articles from EzineArticles (and one or two other directories) on one site. That site is a mix of original and republished content, but it is all around one theme.

    The original content brings the search engines, but I want a lot of good content available once someone reaches the site.

      Thanks everyone for your replies, it's useful to get your perceptive.

      IdeaLady and marciayudkin I agree with your points. There is a lot of good content in the directories, I want to give my site visitors the best possible experience, so why not use some of the quality articles from the directories.

      Reprinting is pretty much the point of the site. Authors *want* their articles reprinted.

        You are just re-writing the articles at the submission sites? Great. I'm sure you've just impressed the whole forum with that admission. Leave mine alone or post them as is with my resource box intact just as you are SUPPOSED TO DO, thanks.

        Yep, that's the fact. Why else bother to do all that work...one backlink? LOL.
        I've gotten hundreds of backlinks from one article because people needed the particular articles I wrote and offered to share. If all I was getting was one stinking backlink from the submission site it would really be a waste of time to submit them - better to use other methods at that point.

        Of course - I like to browse them, too. If I see one I like I'll post it (as is with the author's resource box intact. If I want something original, I'll get in touch with the author and ask a few more questions about the subject, then write an intro to the author and his article - wins friends and offers SE candy.

          This is why I very seldom reprint articles from EZA anymore. I used to use them a lot for niche sites, right up to the annual limit. But these days, you have to wade through so much badly rewritten spider slop to find the quality articles, it's often quicker to just write something myself.

          Either that, or look like a fan site for a handful of writers...

      How can it be a violation when in the members area it tells you as part of your stats how many have published your articles. I never ever publish other peoples articles on my site but I have had many of my articles republished so I guess others want to

    I reprint directory articles with links intact on quite a few of my sites, but from other directories instead of EZA. This is because of the annual limit they have on the number of articles you can use. I have more than enough things to record and remember already, and wouldn't want to forget to keep tabs and then fall foul of the rule.

    I wouldn't use directory reprints on all my sites, but they do help to keep some of them ticking over, usually in conjuction with original content.

      I have used them on some of my Adsense sites, but make sure you include the author's resource box. I just use them sometimes to add content to my site once I get the main page up. They work fine.

    Hello madison_avenue,

    I don't currently use EZA articles on any of my sites. All of my content is either written by me or outsourced. However, if I find a really good EZA article (or an article from any directory), I would have no problem adding it to my site/blog.
