You can teach anything to anyone and get paid for it

You can teach anything to anyone, and get paid for it.

When you know how to package content for sale and market it correctly, then you can make a fortune online.

You all know about making videos training courses and writing ebooks and print books to sell online, but how many people are actually taking action and doing it.

If you want to make a good salary replacing income online, then you have to have a problem solving product or service to sell. It doesn't have to be your own products that you have created, you can sell someone else's products as their affiliate marketer.

Yes experienced WF members will say what rehashed information am I reading now, but that is only because you have broken through the procrastination barriers and created your own products and services and made steady income online.

To the new Internet marketers, this information is new and groundbreaking.

Take appropriate action in a way that your mentor suggests, and your will have a monthly passive income online too.

If you don't yet have a mentor, invest in a good one, someone who is already making the kind of money you want to be generating monthly online. That's the onay way to have a financial breakthrough online.

I disagree. Hiring a mentor is NOT the only way to have a financial breakthrough online.

They may can help but they aren't the only way. Furthermore, they are just as likely to hurt as help if the student isn't prepared to act.

Great points OP regarding teaching/instruction... BUT...

    Shouldn't mentors be FREE?

I can see why COACHES should charge money but mentors?

There IS a big difference between the two.

The difference between the coach and mentor is, that the coach will teach a skill over a short term, and the mentoring is a long term relationship.

Therefore if done correctly, the mentor can command a higher fee than a coach.

I expect Boris Becker, Ivan Lendl, Steffi Graff amongst others are just short term coaches and get paid accordingly so.

Generally a mentor will take you under their wing and not necessarily charge you for their guidance.

Usually a mentor will recognise some qualities in a student and decide to mentor them.

A coach on the other hand does usually charge for their services.

At least that is my personal experience having encountered both from both sides over the years.

        Best regards,

        Ozi

Call them mentors or coaches or whatever else you like, that doesn't really matter. What matters is that you select the right person to teach you and to point you in the right direction.

Some will profess to be your mentor but will just bombard you with course after course to make them money. They are not really interested in whether you succeed or not.

My best advice is to look around and join a membership site where you can learn and get all the answers to everything you need to know. I was a member of Chris Farrell membership site for 2 years and he is regarded as the No1 Internet Marketer. You will learn everything you need to know and his step by step video instructions are second to none. Have a look and research other Internet Marketing membership sites and join the one you think is most appropriate to your needs.

Some of them can be a little expensive but you can cancel your membership any time. Some offer a reduced cost for the first month or even give you your first month free. So well worth checking out. It can save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

Yep! For me the turning point was investing in a mentor that was doing exactly what I was wanting to do.

500K online focused on personal branding.

I went form 0 to 2 big sales in 4 months pretty much not having a clue as to what i was doing lol.

Now I know what i'm doing. And as I get more & more consistent the results build & build & sooner rather then later the floodgaets will open & them 2 big sales over 4 months will become 4 week sthen 4 days...

and so on!! Great post. invest in a mentor & get shiiit done.

So the best way to find a mentor online is to
join a membership site? It seems most of them are too busy
to offer one on one mentoring.

"Anything to Anyone" - not exactly.

I understand the point you are trying to make, but what any good mentor making money selling courses, books, ebooks, etc... will tell you is that getting the right message to the right market with the right product is actually KEY to selling information/training - and no it is not easy for most people.

So yes, anyone can learn to sell training, solutions and digital products, but it is far from selling "anything to anyone"

Regarding mentors - what you really need is the proper methods and then yes, some review to help you enhance your learning...whether that is around finding and targeting niche markets, operationalizing your business, copywriting (one that I learned on my own mainly by studying the greats and then using about 1-month of coaching), lead generation, publicity, etc..

More than anything else, you must be a self-starter, look to quickly implement and adjust to the market feedback, keep trying (persistence) and seek out knowledge from those that are doing what you want to do (sometimes studying what they are doing and taking queues from that is enough to get you started, other times their products will be enough and still other situations you may want to pay them for coaching or as a mentor)

In some ways this is not bad advice, I am still not at the point where I have an online store or products to sell, but alot of my life experience I have had in certain areas is valuable. I have turned one in the mental health niche into an e-book that in some ways is designed to inform, and have plans for more.

Teaching anyone things to make money is a legit business model, but for me the line is between making money off bullshit info and actually helping.

One of the biggest transitions in the "teaching" through digital products space is exactly making that leap from "informing" to helping, or as I like to focus on, bringing about outcomes in people's lives.

The better you can get at focusing on outcomes and tailoring your product in terms of a program/course/system for helping bring about the desired outcome, the better your course will sell, the higher price you can command (because the change it brings is significant) and the more social proof you can get backing the product (because people won't just say it is "good" but will say "it helped me" or "it resulted in X...in my life"

Of course there are different layers - you can target smaller transitions from beginner to intermediate or you can go extremely high value and move people from intermediate to expert...lots of range in between to succeed with your own products
