Have any UK based warriors applied to become an affiliate of Amazon US and did you get accepted? What method is the best to get accepted onto the US amazon programme rather than the UK. Can you do both?

Would you prefer to be a UK amazon affiliate or a US one?

    I applied and was accepted.

It was several years ago but I didn't have any difficulty and as my readership of my blog is 50% North America and 20% UK, I use both.

I can't say that I make a fortune from Amazon.

      Hi

I am an affiliate for Amazon UK & US, I got the US one about a year ago and from what I remember it went straight through.

The only thing is they dont pay to UK bank accounts so you will need to receive a cheque in $'s & bank that so it takes a bit longer to actually get your money!

I'm with both but to be honest I can't remember what the application process was like as I applied years ago. I think it was fairly easy though (I was a newbie back then and I still got accepted).

Would you prefer to be a UK amazon affiliate or a US one?
That depends alot on individual products and the searches, competition etc. I use both (only around Christmas though because the commission isn't great). Actually I've just started doing research for my Christmas campaigns today.

I applied to the US one and was accepted within around 24 hours without any problems. I doubt that you will have any trouble getting accepted providing your site is up to scratch.

Most of my site visitors are US based so I didn't bother with the AmazonUK programme.

Actually I applied for 4 or 5 of them and was accepted for all, but have just used the US one so far. There aren't any kind of Amazon barriers to doing that.

  • I'm an affiliate of both and am UK based. There's no real difficulty getting accepted for Amazon US.

In fact, the way many US States are going taxing affiliate marketing seems to be making it less hassle for Amazon if they recruit their affiliates from the international marketplace.
